Who's Who at SWCP Meet Natasha Mangano...
Natasha grew up spending winters in Arizona and summers on Crystal Lake in Michigan. She graduated with a BA from Michigan State University's Eli Broad College of Business then moved back to Arizona in 1996 (she misses the Cherry and Venetian Festivals but the lakes most of all). Natasha has been with SWCP for 10 years and loves her profession paired with the dynamic of the destination management industry. She is the proud mother of two active boys, eight year old Nicholas and five year old Christopher, who love baseball, tennis, hiking, boating and fishing. When not working, her sense of adventure has her exploring the great outdoors of Arizona.
Natasha is the controller and oversees all accounting and financial matters for the company. You can contact her at 480-609-5315 or nmangano@swcp.net |
Enchantment Resort Expands
Sedona's finest keeps getting better
Earlier this year, Sedona's Enchantment Resort began upgrading and increasing its conference facilities to include an additional 5,500 square feet of event space. Once the multi-million project is complete this fall, Enchantment will offer two new ballrooms and a large dedicated executive board room to complement its beautiful existing space. Southwestern interiors feature state-of-the-art technology and floor-to-ceiling windows showcase the serene, natural setting, with an additional outdoor banquet space of more than 20,000 square feet that takes advantage of the spectacular surroundings. Offering a variety of indoor and outdoor venues, Enchantment Resort continues to prove it's the ideal venue for programs, incentives and corporate meetings.

Diamondbacks & Rockies moving...?
Scottsdale is backing the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community's bid to build a $100 million spring training complex (stadium and practice facilities) for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies on tribal land just east of Scottsdale. The site is one of three finalists being considered for a baseball complex that would allow the Diamondbacks and Rockies to move spring training from Tucson to Scottsdale/Phoenix as early as 2011. |
New Chef Studio
Chef's Loft scheduled to open this fall...
Scottsdale may soon be home to a new crew of celebrity chefs, as seen on TV. The Chef's Loft is scheduled to open this September above Metro and Digestif at Southbridge as a 3,300-square-foot studio that hopes to produce "quality culinary entertainment," including lifestyle TV shows, documentaries and commercials.
Owner Michael Murray also plans for cooking classes hosted by chefs from throughout the country, plus private culinary events. "Think the best chefs from Boston, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and such, bringing their menus to Scottsdale for a week so you don't have to fly there to have dinner", he said.
The Chef's Loft can accomodate group events up to eighty people.
