Greetings!

In between Mom's Day and Dad's Day, we will be emailing a very special Mutterings to help you Honor the Terrific Pet Parents that you know and admire.

If you are a business you can use this opportunity to tell over 2000 Misha May supporters why they should choose to do business with you.

For a minimum donation of $20 (to help our animals) we can include your message and one photo. Please email to mishamayfoundation@gmail.com by June 13. You can use the Make A Donation button at www.mishamayfoundation.org or send a check to Misha May, PO Box 151166, Lakewood, CO, 80215-1166.

Scout has emergency surgery on Memorial Day!
scout cat

Scout, pictured above, underwent $800 life-saving emergency surgery on Memorial Day to unblock his urethra. He is recovering well but also requires follow-up care. If you would like to donate toward paying his bill, we absolutely need it. Scout was originally found on the street, declawed, defenseless and sick. After being treated, including having 6 teeth extracted, his health had been very good.

We are deeply grateful to you, and rely upon your support, for the means to treat the animals in our care. We are committed to giving each animal what is needed, rather than resorting to euthanasia, a very common practice in much of the animal rescue world. Please use the Make A Donation button at www.mishamayfoundation.org or send a check to Misha May, PO Box 151166, Lakewood, CO, 80215-1166.

Hope to see you soon!
Lorraine May,
Executive Director
We know you love the animals like we do...

Here are several upcoming opportunities. There is always an experienced volunteer present to answer questions. It's really fun if you love animals, enjoy learning new things or like chatting about how important rescue is. Please email mishamayfoundation@gmail.com for more information.

UNDERSTANDING DOGS
An integrative, holistic approach to training, behavior, and health, including obedience, flower essences, and calming techniques. Includes a behavior consultation / coaching session / treatment plan for each participating dog.

Learn how to solve canine behavior problems! Better yet, be confident that you can avoid creating or encouraging them! Most dogs can attend. No problem is too big or too small.

Kathryn of Pet Station states: Lorraine's Understanding Dogs class is a unique and personal class.  This class is not your typical sit, stay, or down only class.  This class really helps the owner to understand THEIR own dog's issues, stress points, and avenues to desensitization.  This class also stresses that the owner really observe their dog's behavior. It was great to work with each participant's dog in a one-on-one setting. It really was a collaborative effort to help everyone succeed.  Lorraine's class notes before and after class help to reinforce what was presented. I highly suggest this class to all dog owners!

Pre-Registration is required, which includes fee and forms.
Fee for one Human / one Dog Pair $150; Additional human $45
Fee for Human without dog $90
Dogs adopted through Misha May attend half-price.

Foster dogs from any rescue or shelter may attend for free. Accompanying volunteers or fosters pay $45 per person.

Reiki Certification as an Animal Practitioner begins in July

Includes certification as a Reiki Level I.
The instructor, Lorraine May, Reiki Master / Teacher, was guided to create this class because working with non-humans requires different approaches from a different perspective. Reiki is effective with fear, anxiety, and pain issues in particular. Symptoms are often alleviated.

This class is specifically designed for those who wish to work with animals, including rescue personnel, holistic practitioners, and owners. Class is designed to present healing techniques and information, as well as providing ample hands-on experience. Call 303-239-0382 for more information.

Please Email mishamayfoundation@gmail.com or call 303-239-0382 if you are interested. Then we will set 3 class dates together. Fee is $350.
