Greetings!
What is a Spirit-led leader? And, what does it take to be one? The answer is remarkably simple: Spirit-led leaders live out of a vital relationship with God and seek to serve by continually drawing on the leading and power of the Holy Spirit. Now, actually functioning as a Spirit-led leader may not be anywhere near as simple as defining the concept, and it certainly isn't always easy. But there is no other way to serve Christ faithfully and fruitfully than by abiding closely in Christ and learning how to let the Holy Spirit empower and guide everything we do.
Tim Teaching the Spirit-Led Leader Course in Myanmar Faith, Hope, and Love exists to help both young and well-established pastors and Cristian leaders become Spirit-led leaders. The Spirit-Led Leader leadership training course that we offer all over the world focuses on nine leadership practices and corresponding soul principles. The first pair sets the tone: Leadership Practice 1 Envision your leadership flowing out of a deep spiritual life. Soul Principle 1 Fruitfulness in leadership requires the work of God in and through us. This means, Spirit-led leaders must continually seek to... - know and love God deeply in a personal way;
- follow Jesus Christ faithfully and wholeheartedly;
- live and lead by the power, love and self-discipline that comes from the Holy Spirit; and
- draw others into Spirit-led living and Spirit-led leading in ways that build up the whole body of Christ (and fulfill the mission of the organization or ministry they are leading).
The cultures and the languages vary widely among the countries we serve-Rwanda, Congo, Ukraine, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia, and the United States. Yet the core need for spiritual vitality and leadership training is greatly needed in each context. Congolese Pastors enjoy a light moment during the
Spirit-Led Leader training in Goma, DR Congo The future of the church, and its ability to impact the world, depends upon Christ-centered, Spirit-led leaders. Consequently, Christian leadership training is absolutely vital, and we must work together to address this ongoing, critical need. Thank you for being part of the team. Serving Christ with you, Tim President and Teaching Minister
