The Rochester episode will air Saturday, January 29th at 10:30AM, and again Thursday, February 3rd at 7:30 PM. The program will also be repeated throughout 2011. The show is hosted by longtime Rochester resident, Tom Daldin. Under The Radar Michigan is a fast paced new travel and discovery program that explores Michigan's cool cities and countless hidden treasures. "The true mission of the program is to discover and uncover the thousands of incredible 'under the radar' people, places and things we may not know about in Michigan. I consider Rochester to be one of Michigan's greatest places to live, so featuring it in the show was a "no-brainer." "All of us at UTR productions are excited about this new project," explained program co-creator Jim Edelman. "This show is something we all need right now in Michigan. It has the potential to energize the entire state and put us all back on the path to peace of mind and prosperity." "At PBS, we believe in putting the community first by sharing the power of media to help others achieve their goals," explains DPTV Station Manager and COO Dan Alpert. "With this new program, our goal is to help the people of Michigan see what a great thing we've got here in the Great Lakes State, improving self perception and the state's economy. We also hope this exciting new program will help remind our young and talented people about the many reasons to build their future here in Michigan." About The Host: Tom Daldin is an Emmy award winning actor producer and writer, who has a natural ability to truly connect with people. As a lifetime resident, Tom is an energetic and compelling Michigan enthusiast who has traveled to every part of our state. With this exciting program, he will help viewers discover all the cool people, places and things that make Michigan a great place to live and vacation. In each episode, the UTR crew travels from city to city uncovering the people, places and things that make Michigan a great place to be.
