topGreetings!

Ice Castle Festival is March 6
Get your freezers ready and break out your mittens--it's time once again for our annual Ice Castle Festival! This year's event will take place March 6, 3:00-6:00 pm, at Sunflower. This family favorite will once again feature a Silent Auction, 50/50 Raffle, and tween/teen/adult Talent Show. We'll kick off the day by building and decorating a giant Ice Castle. If you've never seen it--it's pretty amazing!

This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Please show your support for Sunflower by donating an item to the auction, volunteering to help with the event or inviting all your friends to meet our amazing community!

Contact Jennifer Ligeti for more information on auction donations or volunteering.

Do you have an item to donate to our auction? Know of a business that would like to participate? Download auction forms from our website.

Thanks to Seedlings Families for our Beautiful Clean Playground and New Water Play Area!

Thank you to all the Dylan water playSeedlings families who worked so hard last Saturday to beautify our playground and outdoor spaces.

Everything looks beautiful! Days like these are when you can really feel the strength and camaraderie of the Sunflower community.

Special thanks to Seedlings teacher Jonathan Iris-Wilbanks, who designed our new water play area, and to all the parents and kids who helped build it. The intent of this area is to create a much needed spot for calm, focused energy on the playground. Children can explore and experiment with water using the new gutter system, hand pump and basins.

Our wish list for this area includes a small bench (child-sized) for the children to sit and sheets and fabric dye to create a moving fabric screen for the quiet area. Contact Jonathan if you're interested in contributing.

See our Facebook page for more photos from the work day!
