Third Chakra Workshop - Monday, March 2nd, 7:30-9:30pm
Power is the ability to fulfill purpose. The third chakra's role is to direct and distribute energy according to your purpose. The extent to which you are free to use your energy reflects your personal power. This workshop is focused on reclaiming your energy and aligning it with your purpose. Fee: $35.00
Women's Workshop: "I can take it, but I choose not to."
Sunday, March 15th, 1-3pm
This theme has been floating around the women's classes and workshops a while now. Realizing how strong we are and how much we can take, often to our own detriment. In this workshop we will exercise our ability to recognize our strengths and our ability to handle a lot, and at the same time our freedom to choose not to take it.

In this workshop we are going to address love. Not so much about how much you give love or receive love, but how love is connected to better knowing yourself. Creative Meditation 1 - Wed, March 4th-25th, 7:30-9:30pm
This class involves a step-by-step learning of simple and effective meditation techniques that will help you develop and understand your intuitive awareness. As you practice, your intuitive awareness becomes an integral part of your daily experience. The ability to redefine, reclaim and renew your space (spiritual energy system) at any time, in any situation, changes your life. Fee: $150.00
Intuitive Training Program Part 1 - Wed, March 4th-25th, 7:30-9:30pm
Learn about the spiritual energy system, the aura, chakras, and energy channels. Lean how to work with a healing guide and create change in the energy system. Lean to validate the individuals ability to heal him or herself. Learn how to protect your own space as you heal so that when you give a healing, you get a healing. Fee: $150.00

Introduction to Intuitive Touch Healing Sat, March 7th & 14th, 10am-12pm
Learn about the healing power of positive touch. When you start down the path of intuitive training it is important not to forget to validate and nurture the body along the way. Intuitive Touch Healing bridges the gap between the physical and spiritual bodies and increases your awareness of all the parts of you. This workshop will present the basic steps in Intuitive Touch Healing. Fee: $75.00
Creative Meditation 2 - Wed, April 1st-22nd, 7:30-9:30pm
Taking the meditation tools of grounding, running energy and blowing roses, you wil begin to use meditation to focus your creative life force energy. Problem solving, telling truth from lies, practicing affirmations through mocking up, calling back your energy from the past to create your future, making meditation a part of your lifestyle. Fee: $150.00
Intuitive Training Program Part 2 - Wed, April 1st-22nd, 7:30-9:30pm
Develop your healing skills by learning how to give a long-distance healing, repair damage to the chakras and aura, remove energy cords, heal the communicaiton between the body and spirit, plus learn how to bring yourself into a "reading space" and start to "look at" energy. Fee: $150.00

Women's Spirituality - Sat, April 4th-25th, 10am-12pm
This 4 week class is open to all women. Creating a safe environment to explore the energies and experiences of being a spirit in a female body. Using pamperings, healing, art and meditation we will continue to validate the female spiritual experience. Fee: $150.00

Intuitive Touch Healing Program
In May we will be starting a new group in the year-long Intuitive Touch Healing Program. This program is available to all who have completed the Intuitive Training Program (or equivalent) and the Grad. Program (or equivalent). During the course of the year you will learn what it means to heal the spirit through physical touch, how adding that physical dimension accelerates the healing process and that consciously using this healing method will assist you in learning more about our own body and your connection to the physical world.
Cost: $175 per month.

 Feeling vulnerable is not easy. A common reaction, especially for men, is to pretend you don't feel it. "I'm fine, no problem." Another reaction is resistance. "Why do I feel like this, what is wrong with me?" Sometimes the feeling of vulnerability
is the result of an interaction with someone. They might have shocked us with some news, or taken advantage of us, or insulted us. In this instance the vulnerability is the result of our being hit by some energy and we have been shaken up by it. Other times the feeling of vulnerability is not caused by a particular event in our lives, instead it is the symptom of a state of being called a "growth period". A growth period is a period of transition from an old way of being, or self, to a new one. During such a transition we experience vulnerability. This kind of vulnerability is not a condition we need to remedy, rather it is something we need to live with and remain open to.
One of our impulses when we feel vulnerable in this way is to seek out whatever gives us a feeling of security, so we gravitate towards the familiar. But in a growth period what was once familiar and reassuring no longer works, it fails to comfort or validate us. The truth is that we are being called to let go of the past and walk on into the unknown. If we are willing to live with our vulnerability we will find a way forward. Our willingness opens the door to our learning how to live with vulnerability. This is how many people come to find Intuitive Way, they come to learn how to ground because grounding enables you to become present in an open and receptive way. It also helps to be around other people who are grounding and managing their growth periods in an amused and mature way, i.e. not in denial or resistance. Grounding and validation act like chicken soup, they are just what you need when in a growth period. The ability to feel vulnerable and be grounded at the same time means you can be consciously present with the energy of your own becoming. It is how you participate in the birth of your new self.
A growth period is not just an individual experience, communities and whole societies have them too, witness the current state of affairs in our economy. A lot of us feel vulnerable because we don't know how things are going to turn out, but that is the way it is in a growth period. We have to learn to live with not knowing, both individually and collectively, and not "freak out". It is a time for grounding, validation and just as important, not taking ourselves to seriously. That way we allow our new way of being to manifest itself.

I have a lot of passions in my work, but first and foremost seems to be working with women, discovering more each day about the spirituality of women. I am creating this column as a forum for sharing some of what we find. One of the focuses we have as intuitive women is to rekindle a light that illuminates our spiritual past. All the wisdom of our individual and collective life paths, lifetimes.
Great Expectations was the topic in the women's workshop in February. It was an amazing experience and I want to share it here. Close your eyes a moment. Ground yourself and find a neutral space within. We do this by running energy and being in the center of your head. Now imagine a picture of a rose that is going to represent your energy. Note the color and shape of the rose. Now next to that rose create a new picture of a rose for the energy of expectation. Notice the color, the shape of the rose representing the energy of expectations. Take that expectation rose and place it in your rose. What happens. Does your rose absorb it, repel it, disappear? Explode those roses. Now create a rose for expectations people have for you at this moment. About now, about tomorrow, about events, or promises. Imagine this rose is like a vacuum and pulls all the expectation energy out of your energy system. Blow that rose up. Do that again continuing to separate and take out all the expectation energy from your space until you feel complete.
Now create a rose representing tomorrow. Use a second rose to take all the expectation energy out of that rose, and destroy the second rose. Now imagine filling the rose for tomorrow with your own creative energy. Now send that rose out into the universe to manifest. Expectation is different from creativity. It is simply a picture. Over the next few days play with the concept of expectation as energy and how you use it and are used by it.

David and I started our center 10 years ago. We had just moved to Concord, in the heart of the 'burbs. At that time there was not a lot of this type of work around. We know that this information can be helpful for everyone regardless of experience and, wanting to work where we live, decided to set up shop in Walnut Creek. Most of the people who arrive at our doorstep have never done anything like this before.
The place to begin exploring intuition is in our Creative Meditation Class. It is designed to work for that new person who has not had much experience in meditation or intuitive awareness, but, the information in the class is just as useful for those with more experience. The Creative Meditation curriculum is set up to offer invaluable skills and concepts that help you better understand the mysteries of life around you. Each week you are presented with new skills and activities that you then take out and practice in your home, at your work, these "tools" begin to change your approach to life.
Each week of the class builds onto the next week, the more you practice the concepts, the more empowerment you get with them. In just 4 weeks of class, the changes are amazing.
We hold this 4 week class, part 1, every other month. March 4th is the beginning of our next session. Call for more information of to register.
