Get Your PHX at Ultra Fit Clinic
The goal of Get Your PHX is to show up, en masse, to support those who pioneer new restaurants, stores, bars and event spaces. We want to provide them a boost as they put their sweat, tears and wealth on the line to make life great downtown. Plus, we want to provide a chance for you to meet others like you, who want to get the most out of Phoenix.
Thanks again to Steve and Andi Rosenstein for hosting a wonderful Get Your PHX in October. With over 75 people, we raised about $200 for Don't be a Chump, Check for a Lump, a non-profit group that seeks to help prevent breast cancer. We had a blast and I got knocked around for a little while in the ring. Really, who doesn't want that?In November, we are sticking with the fitness theme so you know just what to do after all of the holiday gorging season.
Enter , stage left. A new mid-town business, Ultra Fit Clinic is really three businesses; a home fitness equipment retail store (UltraFit Gym Store), a licensed CrossFit affiliate gym (CrossFit Boot Camps) and Clean-Eating.com, an online and in-person health and nutritional consulting program.Owners Dean Bozzano and Patricia Ellenburg strategically and wisely located directly next to Urban Cookies so that you will always remember why you spend several hours a week jumping around a gym with weights in your hands: so you can eat more nummies!The CrossFit Boot Camps have been using the Steele Indian School Park for their regular workouts for some time, and now have the opportunity to offer a CrossFit gym where folks can work at their own pace. I can't say it enough: Process is power. If the process for choosing lawmakers is flawed, then the people have no power --regardless of which party you belong to.
We are about to redistrict all of our legislative and congressional districts around the country and if you want better representation, then you really want to be involved in this process.
This is the most important movie you could see all year, with our apologies to Harry Potter fans.
