Dear Friends,

Do you feel like you did not fully take advantage of the longer days and warmer weather as you had anticipated? Maybe you have been too busy for the last couple of months to enjoy a trip to the beach, an outdoor concert or, a weekend camping trip with old friends. Or maybe you need to snap out of your Someday Syndrome and realize that the only time is NOW.

As explored in a New York Times article last year, human beings have a strange tendency to delay their pleasure for a future date rather than enjoying it right now. And what do you know, we are all pretty lousy when it comes to predicting a better time to enjoy, say, a trip to the zoo or even a phone call to a family member. We all think we are too busy this summer to enjoy the fireworks and ice cream and BBQ with friends--but somehow, magically, there will be more lax time when "next summer" rolls around.

Folks, don't fall for this all-too-common fallacy. Carpe up the diem before the chilly weather starts settling in. Here are some past Intent blog posts to inspire you to take in the NOW as opposed to the POSSIBLY LATER.
