| Dear Friends:
All too often, we hear about another cancer diagnosis touching family, friends or neighbors and don't know what to do or how to fight back. Since 2005, Jack's Team has provided a platform for individuals to join the fight. Our teams have raised over $350,000 for melanoma research, awareness and healing.
Jack's Fund marathoners connect closely with those who battle cancer and frequently are battling the disease themselves. Running for a cause is their way of making a difference. Each year, Jack's Marathon Team overflows with stories of strength, passion and focus (SPF), brave individuals taking on the challenge for a number of inspiring reasons.
Please take a moment to consider running the Chicago Half Marathon, the Bank of America Chicago Marathon or the ING New York City Marathon on behalf of Jack's Fund.
If an endurance event is not on your list, please consider supporting a runner by donating to their effort or volunteering for the Jack's Team Programs.
We are so proud of each and every one of our Jack's Team members and wish them great success as they "fight melanoma every step of the way."

Greg Forkins has created a "one man" Jack's Team and has, to date, raised over $1200 for Jack's Fund in conjunction with his Vancouver Marathon race. Special thanks to Greg and over 40 of his family and friends for their support. Have a great run Greg!

 We are currently recruiting Jack's Team runners for the NYC marathon Join Us!
...this marathon was truly an experience of a lifetime...I know we were all running this race for various reasons, but I, for one, loved being part of Jack's Team and finding a true purpose in my running. Melanoma truly is "a beast" and I find some comfort in channeling my energy towards something positive -- in the hopes that, one day, melanoma may not claim so many lives. I was so proud to run this race for my dad and for Jack's Fund. My family teases that I ran the entire 26.2 with a smile on my face -- grinning all the way to the finish (4:32). ~ member of 2010 Jack's Team NYC
If your name is in the lottery and you would like to run on Jack's Team, REGISTER TODAY. If you are lucky enough to get a spot through the lottery, you will still be on Jack's Team.
Once the race lottery is drawn, Jack's Team will have official Charity Entries to award to runners who did not gain entry through the lottery. Sign up to reserve your entry.
