Happy Summer!
We at Jack's Fund trust that your summer has been filled with fun, family, and plenty of sunscreen.
Our "This Run's For Jack" committee has been busy planning the 6th Annual Run/Walk. Registration opens on August 6th. Back again is team challenge, chip timing and a free breakfast for all runners/walkers crossing the finish line.
With this newsletter, we are also proud to introduce Jack's Team members running the Bank of America Chicago Marathon, the ING New York Marathon and the inaugural Chicago Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon. Please take a moment to read their inspirational stories.
If you are running this Sunday in the Chicago Rock 'n' Roll or cheering on friends and family, we invite you to join us at our tent in charity village. Stop by before the race for some Kinesys SPF 30 spray sunscreen or just to say hi.

JACKS TEAM
CHICAGO ROCK 'N' ROLL HALF MARATHON
 On Sunday, August 2, Jack's Team will line up with the other 18,000 runners to be a part of history as the inaugural Chicago Rock 'n' Roll Marathon kicks off at 6:30 a.m. Jack's Team includes 17 men and 32 women representing the states of Washington, Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, California, Arizona, Indiana, Florida, Alabama, Virginia, Utah and Tennessee, 27 are from Chicago and 14 have run for Jack's Team in the past.
Many of our runners have inspirational stories to share about how melanoma has directly touched their lives or those of a loved one.

We are pleased to announce that this year's team is our largest ever with 46 members, including 21 men and 25 women. They hail from 9 different states (29 from Illinois!) across the USA, and they are all making a difference in the fight against cancer.
