Remember how we wanted to have 3 people join us on the Southern Maine Heart Walk in honor of Jeni, and her late husband, Jay? We wanted to raise $333 for the American Heart Association in only 3 days...
We met our goal--and then some!
In addition to my
husband and daughters (Abby & Sophie), we had five others join Dr. B's Bountiful Bunch on our 3+ mile trek
around Back Bay. Our members included Abby's friend Alex, Kevin J, Rose, Beverly and Susan.
Not only did we beat our goal of having three additional team members, we also beat our fundraising goal. Our donations totaled an estimated $525 (offline donations are still being tallied). Thanks to all who gave: Kevin J & Rose, Marilyn, Mike, Alex N, anonymous, Sue, Beverly and Charlie & Mary (my mom and dad).
And I know that those of you who could not walk or donate were sending happy thoughts galore--we had an absolutely beautiful day.
