Hello , Spring makes its official arrival in just three weeks! No matter where you are, or how snowy or snow-less your winter happened to be, once spring arrives, you embrace it, wholly and unabashedly. Longer days, warmer sun, crocuses peeking up through the ground...we feel better - and we don't look back! We're surrounded by new life every single day at Get In Touch. This spring we will work harder than ever to sign up more schools to receive our free Get In Touch Girls' Program & Daisy Wheels - an educational breast health initiative taking the world by storm! Over 200,000 girls have received Daisy Wheels in 47 states and 20 countries, and our free Daisy Wheel app has been downloaded in 56 countries since launching last June. Our automatic renewal means that once a school orders and receives our Get In Touch Girls' Program & Daisy Wheels, we will automatically send it to them the following year. It's that easy! Are you a school nurse or health educator? Come on...Get In Touch with breast health - for life! Hope Lives!

Spotlight on Schools: Meadowbrook High School
Judy Lee, School Nurse at Meadowbrook High School in North Chesterfield, VA has brought the Get In Touch Girls' Program and Daisy Wheel© to 300 girls. She says:
"The Daisy Wheels are a great way to introduce the life saving practice of self breast examination for teens. I have used these wheels in presentations for Fit for Life Classes, 9 & 10 grade Family Life Classes during their health rotation along with the Family Life Nurses. Thank you so much for providing these teaching tools for our students. All of the Public Health Nurses in School Health Services are very thankful for the opportunity to share this important message."
We're so glad you're helping girls "get in touch," Judy - thanks!

Oh-soooo Pink!
The third annual Lehigh Valley Pretty in Pink brunch was a huge, sell-out success! Take a look at some of the lovely ladies (and gentlemen, too) who joined us in celebrating Woman of Strength Judy Piel Skinner. Dr. Joseph Russo, our Healing Team speaker and Easton Middle School sixth-grader Carly Ortiz, student speaker, inspired guests and WFMZ-TV's Eve Tannery emceed. Thanks to the Mullin Family, whose daughters' legacy and contribution lives on in the work of their memorial fund's sponsorship of the event.
And, finally, a very big "BRAVA" to Get In Touch's National Events Coordinator, Tracey Snyder Saab, who, along with her spectacular PIP Committee, put on an event that had the Lehigh Valley more passionate than ever about our mission of putting a Daisy Wheel into the hands of every girl in the world! Hope Lives in the Lehigh Valley!!

And a special thank you to Lamar Advertising for the road-side shout-out!

A "Cancer-versary"
Breast cancer survivor Karen Ackley (pictured above, center) decided to celebrate her "cancer-versary," five years of cancer-free living, by throwing a party. In lieu of gifts, Karen asked her guests to make donations to GIT. A whopping $1300 was raised! We are grateful, Karen, for the generosity of you, your friends and your family, and most of all for your good health!
Karen's family has long been inspired to turn gift-giving occasions into GIT-giving occasions; when Alicia was married two years ago, she made a donation to GIT in lieu of wedding favors. (Karen and her grandson David are surrounded by her mom, Pat, and her daughter, Alicia.)
