Hello ,
October is a memory, and believe it or not, Thanksgiving will be here before you know it.
An entire holiday dedicated to gratitude and thanks is a very, very good thing! What are some of the things we are especially grateful for this year? Well, to start...Get In Touch is grateful for the schools in 47 states and 20 countries that have chosen to educate girls on the importance of "getting in touch" with their bodies with our Get In Touch Girls' Program! We are grateful for the girls in the 50 countries that have downloaded our free Daisy Wheel App on the iTunes Store since launching this summer! We are more grateful than words can say to the school nurses and health educators that help us make our mission a movement. And finally, we are oh, so grateful for YOU and your commitment to spreading the word about our important initiative to "change the world one girl at a time" with breast health education. The list goes on and on...but in the interest of time and space, I won't! Please make your own list...and be sure to go on and on and on...time and space are yours for the taking! Hope Lives!

This video is proof that our 7th Annual "Pretty In Pink" Brunch & "Women of Strength" Awards was a huge, sold-out success! Women of Strength Award recipients Nancy Cappello, PhD and Andrea Silber, MD, inspired us all with their passionate words of wisdom and commitment. Special thanks to our sponsors and silent auction donors for their generosity and support...Hope Lives!
Here I am with CT State Senator Gayle Slossberg, Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman and "Women of Strength" Nancy Cappello, PhD, and Andrea Silber, MD.

Vespas Going Once...Going Twice...
The Lehigh Valley "got pink" in so many places this past month that it was hard to choose photos for this article - there were so many great ones! Vespa events dominated the calendar, and 10 lucky people drove off on their new, pink scooters. Here are a few of our favorite images: Thanks to Melt Restaurant, Sette Luna, Metro Beauty Academy, Prudential Patt White Real Estate,Elegant Motorcars, Millennia Salon, Starters Riverport, Jems, Jewels, and Gold, plus Valley Social Magazine, Dawn Photography, and Eurosports for all your hard work to raise funds for GIT!

CT State Representative Kim Rose joins me for a pic with our official Proclamation!

My 8 Favorite "Oprah" quotes...(oh, it was tough to choose!)
1. I still have my feet on the ground, I just wear better shoes.
2. Where there is no struggle, there is no strength.
3. Turn your wounds into wisdom.
4. Surround yourself with only people who are going to lift you higher.
5. So go ahead. Fall Down. The world looks different from the ground.
6. Lots of people want to ride with you in the limo, but what you want is someone who will take the bus with you when the limo breaks down.
7. You know you are on the road to success if you would do your job, and not be paid for it.
8. The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate.

Have You Downloaded Our App Yet?
We are over the moon about the Daisy Wheel© App! If you're an iPad, iPod Touch or iPhone user, go to the iTunes App Store and download it for free. If you love it as much as we do, we'd be grateful if you'd help us spread the word by telling your friends and writing a review, too. It's been downloaded in 50 countries, so far, making our mission to "change the world one girl at a time" a global reality!
