 Hello ,
Happy 2011...a brand new year...you know what that means....
It's time.
Listen to my friend Maria Shriver and pull out all the stops when it comes to achieving your goals and making your dreams come true. Now is the time.
In the middle of my own battle with breast cancer I had never felt more alive.
What's stopping YOU from being alive and pursuing your dream?
It's time to make it happen.
Hope Lives!

I am excited to announce that I have been invited to be a guest blogger on the new website, "Secret Society of Women," the brainchild of American journalist, Lisa Ling. Lisa describes the site: "Secret Society of Women .... By Women .... For Women. A place where we can divulge our deepest secrets about how we look, what we regret, who we fantasize about, what we aspire to do, or whatever else we've been keeping inside of us."Stay tuned!

Extra! Extra! Read all about it...
KUDOS to the super-fabuloso School Nurses from New Haven, CT - where our Girls' Program is curriculum - who presented me with a check from their city-wide participation in October's "GIT Your Pink On!" Day. Many thanks to these unsung "she-roes," who take care of our most precious gift each and every day...our children. These are only some of the nurses from this amazing city, committed to teaching all girls the importance of, and how to do a breast self exam.
HOPE LIVES in New Haven, Connecticut!!
If you are a school nurse or nursing director interested in our program and would like to speak with New Haven Nursing Director Kathy Carbone (pictured below with me) about how New Haven did it, please contact us and we will be happy to put you in touch with Kathy. |
