It's October - National Breast "HEALTH" Awareness Month!
We prefer to focus on "HEALTH" rather than cancer... which is why we've taken the liberty to refer to October in typical GIT fashion - positively!
One of my personal life slogans is..."by celebrating what is right, we find the energy to fix what is wrong."
We celebrate knowledge as power and know that education and conversation can indeed change the world.
We celebrate Daisy Wheels rolling into 36 states, Washington, DC and 13 countries!
We celebrate all the wonderful news and people you'll read about in this newsletter...and we celebrate YOU for all of your support in our mission to "change the world one girl at a time!"
Hope Lives!

Introducing...JORDAN CASNER... Get In Touch "Superstar Youth Ambassador!"
The Get In Touch Foundation is delighted and proud to welcome Jordan Casner as our "Superstar Youth Ambassador!"
We first met Jordan in the Spring of 2009, when she and her mom Amy were guests on the Oprah Show. The episode dealt with the talk that mothers have with their daughters regarding their bodies, menstruation and sex. It was brilliant and we were smitten with ten-year old Jordan, as was Oprah, who asked Jordan to be a regular Youth Correspondent for the Oprah Show, interviewing Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber last season. Jordan's uncanny ability to connect with her peers makes her
one of this nation's "greatest natural resources!" Her guileless candor and inquisitive nature make her a
powerful voice and a serendipitous role model for girls everywhere. Jordan will be inviting girls everywhere to be "superstars," too, by "getting in touch" with their bodies and encouraging them to introduce The Get In Touch Girls' Program & Daisy Wheel breast health initiative to their school.
We are confident that education and conversation can indeed change
the world! Welcome, Jordan...& "thank you, Oprah" for sharing her with us!
