"As we drive along this road called life, occasionally a gal will find herself a little lost. And when that happens, I guess she has to let go of the coulda, shoulda, woulda, buckle up and just keep going."

Thin Thread:  A moment, event, encounter, crossroad or decision that connects us to a person, place or opportunity and changes our lives for the better.
     Thin Threads books
We are all connected by the fragile moments in our lives.
Either we connect to one another, to our own journey, or to a higher power.

My thin thread story was recently published in the Recovery & Survival edition of Thin Threads, a wonderful series that will be available in bookstores in November - and a percentage of the proceeds will benefit GIT!

When you make your purchase by clicking here, Thin Threads will donate half of the proceeds to Get In Touch. The books are $6.95 and make great gifts for the holidays - or to send to someone to whom you wish Recovery & Survival.

Consider submitting your own "Thin Thread" story,
and support the Get In Touch Foundation through the purchase of books.

HOPE LIVES and CONNECTS us!

8 Things You Can do for Your BFF
if She's Been Diagnosed with Breast Cancer

1.    Never leave a message that says, "Call me back...."

2.    Never stop by without calling.

3.    Never tell her you know exactly how she feels.

4.    Never tell her about anyone you know who died from breast cancer. (or any cancer, for that matter)

5.    Never tell her about anyone you know whose marriage fell apart after her breast cancer diagnosis.

6.    Never call it "boob cancer."

7.    Never tell her she doesn't need her breasts anymore.

8.    Never tell her at least she only has to have one removed.
