Save-the-Dates
Sunday, October 11th 5th Annual "Pretty In Pink" Brunch & "Woman of Strength" Award Noon-3pm Great River Golf Club, Milford, CT
Friday, October 16th 2nd National "GIT YOUR PINK ON!™"Day
|
The Get In Touch Girls' Program & Daisy Wheels™ are provided at no financial cost to schools - all they have to do is participate in our Annual National "GIT Your Pink On!™" Day service project and awareness campaign. Doing so helps us offset the expense of our program while bringing attention to this valuable educational initiative.
By participating in our Annual National "GIT Your Pink On!™" Day, Friday, October 16th (each year the third Friday in October) schools will qualify to receive the number of Daisy Wheels necessary for their students. This will also generate interest in advance of the Get In Touch Girls' Program & Daisy Wheels™ "rolling" into those schools or communities.
Here's how it works:
Each student - male & female! -
is encouraged to wear something pink to school and donate one dollar to
The Get In Touch Foundation. Faculty and administration participation
is also encouraged.
This
meaningful service project and awareness campaign for the program
assists us in our most important initiative - "changing the world one
girl at a time!"
If you would like the Get In Touch Girls' Program & Daisy Wheels™ and would agree to host a "GIT Your Pink On!™" Day at your school, please click HERE.
If your business or company organizes a "GIT Your Pink On!™" Day this year, please be sure to e-mail us photographs that we can share on our website and newsletter!

I'm proud to have been invited to speak at the Overseas School Health Nurse Association Conference in Kaiserslautern, Germany next March. I met many of the OSHNA nurses at the National Association of School Nurses Conference last June in Boston, and they were excited to introduce the Get In Touch Girls' Program & Daisy Wheels™ to the 100 schools abroad that are home to thousands of American students! We did say "global initiative!" Who better to start with than our own citizens abroad!
