Playoff Information
Hi-White Baseball and Hi-White/Milford Softball playoffs will begin Friday, June 13th and run through Thursday, June 26th.  All of the competitive divisions participate in the playoffs (Shetland, Ponytail and Pinto are NOT competitive).  We are on a very tight schedule to get all of the games in prior to the "End of Season Picnic".

As always, our emphasis as a league is on sportsmanship and having fun.  This particularly applies during playoffs when emotions can run high in the heat of the moment.  As in every league and every sport, kids will make errors during the game, umpires will miss calls and coaches will make bad decisions.  It is expected that all participants and spectators will conduct themselves appropriately at all times.

Coaches and spectators set the tone for the kids in learning how win with grace, lose with dignity and display good sportsmanship at all times.  Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.
Brackets Are Now Available

The 2008 Playoff Brackets have been published to the Hi-White web site.  Once the regular season standings have been finalized, we will populate team names in the brackets.

Please note, team number refers to the regular season standing.  Higher ranked teams are the home team, unless otherwise noted.

Standings

Current standings are being updated and will be published shortly to our web site.  For the remainder of the season, the standings will be updated nightly as we receive results from the coaches.
Lugnuts Wrap Up

We have received a lot of positive feedback on the Lugnuts game last Sunday, in spite of the severe weather that interrupted the game.  Hi-White was well represented with:
  • 18 kids taking the field prior to the game as part of the "Hi-White Dream Team"
  • 2 of our members doing a fantastic job of singing the National Anthem
  • 2 of our dads competing in "Name that Tune" between innings
  • 1 kid racing the mascot around the bases between innings

The previous night's game was completed prior to the start of the regularly scheduled game and the Lugnuts won with a walkoff home run in the bottom of the 10th.

The Lugnuts won the scheduled game 3-2 after a 2.5 hour rain delay.
All Star Games

The Hi-White Baseball and Hi-White/Milford Softball All Star games will take place on Saturday, June 28th during the "End of Season Picnic".  More details will be forthcoming shortly.
