| Don't get all hoity-toity over our fascination with the Royal Wedding. A little peek at the tabloids is just the thing to counter an overdose of Proper Royal Protocol, especially at a time when ignoring a Pop Culture phenomenon takes more energy than acknowledging its entertainment value.
In spite of the leak-proof PR machine, we're still tuned in to all the media speculation. In all of our trolling for scoops we've come up with a few of the best wedding watch sites.
Who's on (and off) the guest list? Huffington Post's Royal Wedding Page can't be beat. Mr. & Mr. Elton John are on. The Ex-Mr. Madonna is on, but his lady (not Madge) is off! Mr. Bean is on, while The Obamas and the Sarkozys are off. Assorted exes from both sides are on.
What to buy a royal couple for a wedding gift? Not even the Ministry of Gossip knows the answer. Maybe the guests got a tip sheet included with the invite. One thing we'd bet on, they aren't registered at Macy's.
What site has the least info about the Royal bash? That appears to be The Official Site of the British Monarchy. But, if you're a serious royal watcher, it's the place to get the scoop on the day-to-day running of the monarchy, historical facts on every royal family member, and an official family tree. The fact that the site exists is a nod to the modernizing of the monarchy. Want to email the Queen? This is the place to do so.
