On Sex and the City, Carrie Bradshaw stood penniless in a green grocer and happily charged tomatoes. Her shoe addiction left her too tapped out to pony up even a few dollars in cash. Shoes can do that to a girl. Fabulous footwear goes way beyond the practicality of being shod.
While the reasonable among us may scoff at the idea of going out-of-control over a pair of pumps, they'll surely acknowledge the emotional value in a great pair of shoes. Slipping them on instantly lifts the spirits, transforms the attitude, updates the wardrobe, and makes one feel like dancing.
