No matter what age we are, dressing ourselves head to toe into any one
trend means we risk looking like a clich�. With this one, we have the
added danger of also looking like our mothers.
Though she may have been
lovely, we have our own fashion lives to live. Right now there are many items trending that are also very wearable, and have a life span beyond just one season. They'll also mix well with what's already in your closet, like great jeans, a black
pencil skirt, and perfectly fitting pants.

The Dress
Dresses are under-appreciated. They're wardrobe wonders because they don't require a lot of additional pieces to complete a look. More style with less effort is a big benefit.

Domestic Goddess
If Bravo's Real Housewives had existed in the 50s, Donna Reed would have been the one to watch. She floated around behind her vacuum cleaner dressed to the nines: the glamorous lady of the house always looked immaculate. Fashion, along with just about everything else, would soon flip on its ear in the 60s, but in Donna's day things were still ladylike and demure.
