Non-Toxic Beauty

Consumers are still being sold on the fact that the toxins used in conventional beauty products is not enough to cause harm. But, having read the Toxic 12 Beauty Ingredients, it's hard to go on slathering phthalates and formaldehyde all over without making at least a few healthier cosmetic choices. Here's our list of recommended organic skin care products.

Skin Care Favorites:
Om Aroma: 1 Minute Ritual to Radiant Skin is pure and easy.

Ren: The SH2C Serum contains wheat peptides which act like a natural Botox.

Weleda:What's old is new again, the company was started in 1921 by a philosopher and founder of a Mind-Body-Spirit movement.

John Masters Organics: Chemical-free hair care products, including ammonia free hair color. Also skin care, baby care, and pet care products.

Hair Care & Make-up Favorites
MGA (Max Green Alchemy): The Scalp Rescue Products are gluten free, good for all hair types, soothing to dry itchy scalps and control frizz.

Aveda: Products are botanical based. They are also easy to find, the company has been around over 30 years and is widely available at retail.

My Chelle Cream Foundations provides sheer matte coverage that evens skin tone and diminishes the appearance of fine lines due to the light reflecting qualities of added micas and silica.

The makeup at ZuZu Luxe includes gluten and lead free lipsticks and glosses.
