It's OK to look like a Girl Scout, if you're a Girl Scout.
If you're a Marine, a firefighter, or a teenage runway model, there's nothing more stunning than a 'full dress uniform'. If you're none of the above, then dressing 'as if' can look ridiculous, but 'borrowing from' can look just right.
