What's the Blue Pill For?

Betsy Hiebert thinks
her family won some kind of lottery on health-related challenges. Over the years, they regularly relied on
Betsy's tenacity to be a patient advocate on their behalf.
Betsy learned how to talk to doctors, what
questions to ask, how to manage health care, and how to keep all the information
organized. She even figured out a system for
the rest of us in her aptly titled, Personal Healthcare Journal.
The Personal Healthcare Journal is a workbook with prompts
for all relevant health-related information. Each appointment page contains doctor's names,
questions for the doctor, answers to those questions, symptoms, allergies, tests,
and all medications.
Additional log pages contain places for noting information on medications,
vitamins, and vaccinations, with dosages, reason for use, the duration of
usage, and even the color of the pill.
The Personal Healthcare Journal allows us to keep track of our own
healthcare and that of parents, children
or anyone under our care--even the pooch.
Now you can keep the stories
straight! Is that the sound of your blood
pressure dropping? *****
What happens when pills get mixed up or re-bottled and you
can no longer remember what the medication is?
You can search the Pill Identifier database by pill shape, color, and imprint (the identifying text, numbers, and/or letters on each pill). Pill Identifier also has an interactions
checker so you can see what effects one medication has on another.
