SUMMER FILM SRIES AT HILLLTOP HANOVER
Saturday, July 31, 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. in Building F Showing this evening will be The Truth Behind the Tap, Just a Lawn, and The Power of Community. Following the show, join East of Hudson Agricultural Program Coordinator Carrie Davis in a discussion about clean water and sustainability and what you can do to make a difference. Free popcorn and lemonade will be provided; open to the public of all ages. A second screening will take place in early September. This summer film series is hosted by the Friends of Hilltop Hanover and sponsored by the Watershed Agricultural Council with funding from NYC DEP.

Pre-register by August 6 Cost: $25.00 per youth ages: 9+; bring your own bagged lunch Spend a day in nature through this fun-filled exploration of the Siuslaw Model Forest. Presenter Crystil-Lee Skoda, Extension Educator will take the group on a nature walk and share tree identification and the wonderful gifts trees provide, scout for salamanders and more. Snacks will be provided, but participants must bring their own bagged lunch. Since this program is outdoors, it will be dependent on the weather. |
