Of Interest -- The Face of Farming:
The faith, struggle and joy of working the land are reflected in "The Face of Farming," a multi-media exhibit by artist Ellen Wong which will be on view at the Roxbury Arts Group's Hilt Kelly Hall in June. Local multi-generational farms -- The Elliott, Gray, Fuller/Oravetz, Darling and Fairbairn families of Middletown, Andes and Roxbury -- participated in the 2008 project, funded by grants awarded to the Historical Society of the Town of Middletown by the Roxbury Arts Group and the O'Connor Foundation. Portraits, photographs, video of farm activities and recorded interviews, can be seen during June 13 from 3 to 6 p.m.

Also during the gallery exhibit, WAC is sponsoring the lecture by Peter Forbes -- writer, photographer, farmer, conservationist, and founding director of the Center for Whole Communities in Fayston, VT -- who will address "The Power of Story" in strengthening movements for change. Call RAG at 607-326-7908 for more information.
