Bethel Farmers' Market at Kauneonga Lake, now in its 4th year, is accepting applications for their farmers market.  Producers of locally grown food, providers of dairy, poultry or fish and crafters/artisans are invited to contact us for an application.  Market operates on Friday afternoons from July 10th through September 4th.

Financial Opportunities for the Agriculture Industry in Sullivan County"
March 3rd,  11 am to 2 pm
 Cornell Cooperative Extension of Sullivan County

Organized by the Delaware Highlands Conservancy and the Sullivan County Division of Planning and Environmental Management, this agricultural workshop will appeal to both farmers and the general public.  Attendees will learn how to protect and promote agriculture through agricultural easements, the Purchase of Developments Rights program, and buying locally.  Presenters will be from DHC, the Open Space Institute, CCE of Sullivan County and the Watershed Agricultural Council.
 
Beaver Dam Brook Farm and Dutch's Tavern and Restaurant are providing local food free for attendees.
