Online Horse Tips
 
Beginning January 2009, the University of Michigan is hosting a free, online "environmental management for horse farms" series at www.myhorseuniversity.com. Topics include facility, pasture and manure management issues. The 7 p.m. webcasts feature:
  • "Introduction to Environmentally Friendly Horse Management" on January 13,
  • "Pasture Management for Horse Acreages" on February 10, and
  • "Horse Manure: A Renewable Resource" on March 10.
