Citizens on Patrol Kicks off in Bolton Hill on Feb. 5th
by Shie'ree Saunders

tree-wells
Midtown is celebrating the growing number of residents in  Bolton Hill who have volunteered lots of time and effort in the newly organized Citizens On Patrol program. This makes a remarkable difference in the community for us all. Neighbors are coming together to make a safer, friendlier community. Orientation and training is provided by the Baltimore City Police.  COP groups are forming in Mount Vernon too. We invite you to get involved.

SPRING TIME Is Coming!!!..... Get involved in our spring tree-well cleaning and greening projects. Or volunteer to help with gardening in our area parks in Mount Vernon Place, Charles North and on Eutaw Place.

Please contact Volunteer Coordinator Shie'ree Saunders at The Midtown Benefits District for more information on volunteering opportunities at 410-528-1512.

PLAN Part II Meetings Now Scheduled

or
Tuesday February 5, 6-8pm
or
Saturday February 16, 10am-12noon

Now that Vision is complete, we are ready to move to the next stage of our CityScaping planning process - "Plan." Please click here to download the complete Vision summary.
In Plan, our team will present new concepts for the physical redevelopment of State Center, as well as a framework for the human capital components of the initiative. Both the physical and human capital plans build on the ideas and concepts that were shared with us by the community during Vision.
We intend to hold a series of public "Plan" meetings in which you will have the opportunity to react to the initial physical schemes and human capital ideas. Our team will then refine the proposed plans based on your input, and these revisions will be presented at subsequent public meetings.
