Dear Friend, Family and Associates of Rev. Stephen Parelli:

Metropolitan Community Churches is pleased to announce the Ordination of Rev. Stephen Parelli, Executive Director of Other Sheep.  Rev. Parelli, formerly ordained by a local Baptist church, has been serving since 2005 as Executive Director for Other Sheep, an ecumenical, Christian ministry working worldwide for the full inclusion of LGBT people of faith within their respective faith traditions by connecting people with people and people with resources.
 
The work of Rev. Parelli throughout the globe parallels in many ways, the work of Metropolitan Community Churches, and we are pleased to partner with Other Sheep and ordain Rev. Parelli as Clergy in Metropolitan Community Churches.
 
The Ordination will be performed by Rev. Elder Nancy Wilson, Moderator and will take place on May 31, 2009 at 11:00 am at MCC New York, 446 W 36th Street, New York, NY 10018.
