NAIROBI, KENYA  July 14, 2008.   

 

Rev. Michael Kimindu learned, just hours ago, that he has been granted his visa to Britain to attend Lambeth.  Rev. Kimindu is being sponsored to Lambeth by IntegrityUSA.  Rev. Kimindu was introduced to IntegrityUSA through Other Sheep after meeting Steve and Jose in Nairobi, Kenya, in July 2007 when Steve and Jose were introducing the ministry of Other Sheep to Kenya, in part, by calling upon clergy.  After Steve and Jose had called upon clergy at the All Saints Anglican Cathedral, Rev. Kimindu was told that a new ministry was in town that took the same position he held on the Bible and homosexuality.  Rev. Kimindu contacted Steve and Jose and immediately began a working relationship with Other Sheep for the full inclusion of LGBT people of faith within their respective faiths.  Other Sheep is deeply grateful to IntegrityUSA for their financial and moral support of Rev. Kimindu in sponsoring him to Lambeth.
