Tired of trash floating across your campus? Can't stand seeing plastic bottles in the garbage
bin? Let's use design to tell people that "waste" is really a "resource!"
Students Vs. Trash is a poster design contest taking place across New Jersey, New York
and Puerto Rico during the Spring 2012 semester that encourages students, faculty, and
college communities to do their part to reduce waste, increase recycling, and get rid of litter.

Tips for Success
Remember all entries must:
- be 18" x 24"(landscape or portrait). They can be designed by hand or electronically, but must be emailed in PDF format to info@studentsvstrash.com.
- have a call to action within the design to interact with the campaign via social media (Facebook and/or Twitter). Two examples are: "How Could YOU Reuse a Yogurt Container for a Year? Tell us at @StudentsVsTrash" or "What did you pick up today? Tell us @StudentsVsTrash." The Facebook page can be found at facebook.com/studentsvstrash, while the Twitter account can be found at twitter.com/studentsvstrash.
- include release form, contact information, and a design justification/rationale (limit 1-page).
More Than One Submission Per Person Allowed - and Encouraged!
A few people have asked us, so we thought we should clarify: students are allowed to submit as many entries as they'd like! There is no limit, so send us one entry or send us five!
In addition, if you have already submitted an entry and would like to change it or update it, feel free to send us the new copy before the deadline! We will judge the most current file you send to us.
