Turtle, turtle, turtle!
Black & tan turtles are available at 99 Bottles. Both cute and functional, the turtle's mouth is a bottle opener and his back operates as the "spoon." His little legs balance him atop your glass so you can focus on pouring layered beer concoctions instead of juggling the spoon, glass, and bottle.
Try these layered beer recipes...
Black & Tan: bottom layer Bass, top layer Guinness
Half & Half: bottom layer Harp, top layer Guinness
Patriot: bottom layer Samuel Adams Lager, top layer Guinness
Snapper: bottom layer Redhook ESB, top layer Murphy's
Black Velvet: bottom layer champagne, top layer Guinness Try this using the Aspall Cuvee Chevalier apple cider champagne!
Snakebite: bottom layer hard cider, top layer Guinness Use Magner's Irish Dry Cider or Strongbow English dry cider.
Bumble Bee: bottom layer Dundee Honey Lager, top layer Murphy's

p.s. You should get a turtle to make your wife
happy. She doesn't like it when you bend her good kitchen spoons making
black & tans!

What is I-1100?
Sure it allows liquor to be sold in non-state run stores, but what else does it do? I-1100 repeals the three-tier system, removing nearly 40 laws that dictate how beer & wine is distributed and sold. Is this good? Probably not.
Learn about I-1100's impact on beer...
|
Also on the ballot is I-1105, which also allows liquor to be sold via private businesses and retains the majority of laws relating to beer & wine distribution. It keeps the playing ground fairly consistent for all sizes of retailers, but doesn't have promotional funding from the big box retailers.
We hope you take time to review the pros & cons of each initiative prior to voting. CHEERS!
