After much thought, I (Janet) determined the best approach would be to communicate by a group email of sorts. I wanted to personally share with each of you, but the amount of information and time for writing individual messages does not make that possible. I hope that you can receive this personally because that is my heart.

Clint and I are extremely blessed and privileged to have the opportunities that we do to travel the world and not just for recreation as tourists but somewhat like diplomats! I don't say this in arrogance but rather as a statement of awe on our own part for all the amazing experiences we have had.  We have met heads of governments, ambassadors, and statesmen from many nations.  We have not just had casual introductions with these men and women but have had meetings with intentional sharing of information and ideas.  Beyond that we have had incredible associations with some of the wealthiest men and women in the world. We have also been in conferences and meetings with spiritual leaders of international influence.

Tahoe 2002 

I am rehearsing these associations to create a platform of credibility. I don't feel a need to be credible, but the information I share will need a defense due to its controversial nature. There is a proverb that says, "A man's gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men." Prov 18:16.  Clint has been blessed with a gift. Some call him a prophet. He has an ability to perceive when he is with individuals and in situations.  His "gift" is a mixture. There is an element involved that is natural. I see that he comes by this ability from his dad. Grandpa has an amazing ability especially in farming to gather relevant information and "see" the way things are going. Grandpa has an ability to assimilate information, to contextualize, a love for history, and to see people reach their potential. His uncle Warren was ahead of the curve in his understanding of world affairs and being with influential people. Clint's brother Stuart has always gathered important information (as well as humorous BS, Ha! Ha!) and he makes good decisions based on what he "sees" happening because of an underlying pursuit of what is good. So, Clint comes by some of this trait naturally. These natural giftings are bolstered by his commitment personally to serve the Lord with them, which with a strong study of the Word, and the nature of the Holy Spirit, makes him prophetic with these gifts.  Because of this, leaders have sought Clint to hear their stories, pray for them, prophesy over them.  

Being acquainted with a study of the Scripture, not only formally in 5 years of Bible college and also post graduate seminary studies, but also in a profession of study to teach the Bible for 28 years, Clint has developed a strong understanding of prophecy in the Scriptures and it's culmination in the Day of the Lord also know as the Coming of the Lord, to Christians, the second coming of Christ, to Jews, the coming of Messiah and the Messianic age, to secular people the end times or end of the world.  Predominantly, teaching on these subjects has occupied him for the past 5 years.  He has taught these things in dozens of nations.  He has trained not only leaders in churches but also national leaders and businessmen with these understandings.

Clint and I believe that we are in the generation of the coming of the Lord.  Biblical prophecy is being fulfilled at an alarming rate in these days. Just this last year prophecies concerning many nations in the Middle East were directly fulfilled.  There is a timeline of the Lord's return. Poor Harold Camping didn't have it right, but I cannot dismiss his zeal and relentless pursuit.  We do not profess to know all and have it all figured out, but we are postured in expectation of the Day of the Lord and watchful of the signs, always taking our bearings and adjusting our course much like we do when we sail.

Clint and I do not have much earthly wealth.  But, we do consider ourselves extremely wealthy!  The riches we have don't operate in this economy, but they are worth treasuring and worth sharing with our family and those we love as an inheritance.

So, with this introduction, here are some encouragements from our lives we would like to give to you.  Treat it as an expression of love, as a relationship with family.  We are not tying to just tell you what we know or again, think we have an elite corner on truth, quite the contrary, most of this is in an open book, the Bible, for all to see.

1)   God is the Supreme Being, the Creator of heaven and earth, the universe and all that is in it.  He made us in His image to enjoy relationship with us much as a good father loves his children.  This is the most important truth.  He is a personal God who wants us to have relationship with Him and made that possible by taking care of sin that separates us in relationship by atoning for it through Jesus.  I am not going to elaborate this message.  If you want more detail, you can pursue that yourself which I encourage you to do! But, the first thing is first, God is God alone and worthy of all honor, praise, glory, and our lives! Believe upon Him, love Him, serve Him, have no other gods or idols before Him.

2)   He is coming to this earth in one grand culmination of His Sovereign plan to redeem man from sin and to redeem the earth. He made a covenant with Noah to never destroy the earth again with a flood.  He made a covenant with Abraham, renewed it with his son Isaac, again renewed it with his son Jacob through whom the race of the Jews came to being, proclaimed it to David and Solomon and ratified it through Himself in Jesus Christ.  God has never wavered from this plan.  He is right on track with it.  He even gave us an action manual detailing much of the plan, the Bible! If you haven't read it, it is marvelous reading especially in light of current events! History again confirms much fulfilled prophecy.  So, as I said God is right on track, mankind is greatly misdirected in pursuing a life without acknowledging the Author in it, nevertheless the story unfolds.

3)   The events preceding the Lord's return are "great" and "terrible".  Some make a distinction that they are great for people that believe in God and terrible for those who don't.  I say that they are fear producing for all.  This is the Supreme Creator of the Universe we are dealing with!  He is jealous over His handiwork.  He will not be thwarted in His eternal intention. Certainly no mortal will challenge Him.  He is a Holy God, of a completely different nature than ours.  Purity is His nature.  Love is His attribute.  Righteousness and Justice are His.  Mercy and compassion, patience and forbearance, and vengeance against all that is evil at the same time!  He is coming to right every wrong and it won't be pretty!  Terrifying times are coming!

This is not doom and gloom because there is a glorious outcome (as long as you are on the right side of things, His side).  All the prayers will be answered, all the cries of people that say, "If there is a loving God then how come....." or "When will God straighten this mess out?" Well, I've got news for you, SOON! The events will be very tangible.  There will be economic disasters, natural disasters, civil anarchy in response to events, political tyranny trying to bring order.  For some nations this is a daily reality TODAY!  The US of A is not exempt!

4)   We believe that economic collapse in America will happen this next year (2012).  The scope of this will be a complete devaluing of the US dollar.  We encourage you to make preparations for this happening and to NOT DELAY.  A few side lights: I listed all the credentials in the beginning because for what it's worth we have first hand information of the wealthiest people moving their assets out of the US and securing their assets in property and metals. Now, come, let us reason together, none of us have this kind of wealth, and it would behoove us to understand that people who do, have it because they are skilled at getting it and keeping it! That makes me take notes!  Don't have any of your assets secured by paper.  In other words, get your money out of the bank, IRAs, stocks, securities, bonds, certificates could be worthless!  Regardless of what you think of gold, silver, platinum, diamonds even if they lose some value from the current market, they will never lose total value, history proves this, learn from history, and they for sure will be of more value than worthless paper. Already the banks are not letting people withdraw big sums without appointment.  If you want to save your money, start little by little now or you will lose it all. MF Global seized millions of dollars of funds in private accounts that mysteriously disappeared. The people who had these accounts have lost their money.  

5)   Economic collapse could result in huge problems!  There will probably be civil unrest especially in the bigger cities of course. There can be runs on fuel and the grocery stores and supplies. Get ready now.  Again, be reasonable, have stores of non perishables: bags of rice, beans, grains, canned foods, dehydrated foods, water, cooking fuel and stove, basic survival tools.  Hey, what's it hurt if this stuff doesn't happen and I'm blowing hot air...you'll have shopped ahead or you can give later to charity.  But, if you don't prepare, and it does, you'll be up that you know what creek without a paddle and you'll be hungry and desperate.  Have guns and ammo for hunting, fishing supplies, and just have some kind of plan and work it NOW! Like go to the store tomorrow and start labeling dating your supplies and store them.

6)   Speaking of plans, have a plan for community with your family together to protect yourselves better and be together if things really get wacko.  Work out ahead where to meet, what to do. Pool your resources.  Having garden seed for the long haul, canning goods, generator for power to pump wells for water etc. Don't forget shovels for the out house!

7)   You can only effect what you can control.  There is going to be all kinds of intense stuff happening in the days to come.  You don't need to worry about governments, you can vote to the best of your ability in this next election, and I encourage you to make an informed decision and do so, who knows, it may buy us some mercy.  But, there is no stopping God's design to raise up nations and bring down others for His ultimate plan.

You can't stop earthquakes, tornados, tsunamis, hurricanes, floods, and fires.  They will come.  You can't stop epidemics.  You can't fear terrorism or civil anarchy.  God can protect you through these things if you put your trust in Him and seek His protection. He can give you wisdom to keep you safe too.  He is into wisdom and scorns foolishness.  So, to think that somehow faith can exclude you from being effected by these things at all is just downright stupid.  Use the wonderful brain God gave you!  First, make a wise conscious decision in relationship ongoing with Him, then be sensible and realize His plan is underway and you can be part of the solution and not part of the problem.

Well, Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas!  We love you all and are thankful to be part of this fabulous family!  We will be in Palau on the boat through February doing work, ordering parts we need while we still have a window to do so before companies collapse and shipping does who knows what.  We will be in Taiwan for March and then back in Israel in April, God willing.

For those of you wondering, we believe there will be war in the Middle East with Israel, Syria, and Iran as key players in the next 3-6 months. We believe Israel will be hurt but not destroyed and that there will be a peace agreement afterward.  Why would we go there in the middle of this you may be asking.  Because that is what we believe we are supposed to do and that we can effect peoples lives for God in an eternal sense by doing so.  We believe in His protection, and don't believe we are presuming on Him to protect us apart from what we believe He has told us to do.  He's certainly able to change our circumstances and direct us elsewhere!
