Blow the Trumpet in Zion! Sound the Alarm on my Holy Mountain!

100 hours of prayer and worship in Israel!

Many of you know that we have had three strategic trips to Israel to do 50 hours of prayer in worship on Mt. Carmel and in Jerusalem.  The last two times in Jan 2006 and 2008 we did 50 hours on Mt. Carmel and 50 hours in Jerusalem.

It is very obvious that the Middle East is in a time of great change in these days.  Everything that is happening is happening because of Israel and end-time prophecies that have yet to be filled.  (see Dan. 2:20-22)

In a recent visit with David and Karen Davis we all felt that there needs to be another 50 hours of strategic level worship and prayer. We sense that September and October are critical times for Israel.

After speaking with a number of other leaders in Israel it seemed the best time to do the 100 hours is during the "10 Days of Awe".

THE TIME

We will start the first 50 on Mt. Carmel in the "spirit and power of Elijah" at Kehilat HaCarmel on October 1, 2011 Shabbat.  We will finish on Monday October 3.  On October 4 (Tues) morning we will go to King of Kings in Jerusalem.  We will start the 50 hours there around 12:00 noon.  We will finish the 50 hours in Jerusalem on Thursday, October 6 around 2pm.

TRANSPORTATION

We will have a bus from Ben Gurion Airport that will leave on Friday, September 30, 2011 around 5:00 pm. to take us to Kehilat HaCarmel.  We will then have a bus on Tuesday morning to take us to Jerusalem.   Then a bus from Jerusalem back to Ben Gurion airport that will leave around 1:00 pm on Friday, October 7, 2011.

HOUSING

We are arranging housing in Mt. Carmel at their facilities.  In Jerusalem we are still putting it together.

COST

Not counting airfare and food...so for housing and transportation it will be less then $500 per person.

EXTENDED TOUR

For those interested in staying longer it can be arranged.

NAIOTH SCHOOL

For those interested we will be starting the fall semester of NAIOTH MINISTRY SCHOOL at the end of the 50 hours.   It will continue to November 6, 2011.  This is a discipleship, prophetic, worship, intercession equipping time in Israel.  We will be working with local leaders in Israel who will be equipping you.

There are different ways to see Israel.  Most come as a tourist.  Some come seeking.  Some come on a religious pilgrimage.  But very few come as a strategic level, apostolic worship and intercession journey.  We are not interested in numbers or "hyping a trip".   We are like the Marines...we are looking for a few good men and women who are "called" by the Lord to be a part of this.  If you are interested please respond here by sending an email so we can send you follow up notifications:

THE TEN DAYS OF AWE

The ten days starting with Rosh Hashanah  and ending with Yom Kippur are commonly known as the Days of Awe (Yamim Noraim) or the Days of Repentance. This is a time for serious introspection, a time to consider the sins of the previous year and repent before Yom Kippur.

The number 10 is the number of law, order, government, restoration, antichrist kingdom.  It is also the number of trial, testing and responsibility and the tithe:  In Genesis 1 God said--10 times.  Exodus 34:28--ten commandments.  Daniel 7 and Revelation 12:3 the ten horns.  Mt 25:1-13 ten virgins.   Rev. 2:10 Devil tests the saints for 10 days.

In Jewish tradition one of the ongoing themes of the Days of Awe is the concept that God has "books" that he writes our names in, writing down who will live and who will die, who will have a good life and who will have a bad life, for the next year. These books are written in on Rosh Hashanah, but our actions during the Days of Awe can alter God's decree. The actions that change the decree are "teshuvah, tefilah and tzedakah," repentance, prayer, good deeds (usually, charity). These "books" are sealed on Yom Kippur.  This concept of writing in books is the source of the common greeting during this time is "May you be inscribed and sealed for a good year."

Among other customs of this time, it is common to seek reconciliation with people you may have wronged during the course of the year. The Talmud maintains that Yom Kippur atones only for sins between man and God. To atone for sins against another person, you must first seek reconciliation with that person, righting the wrongs you committed against them if possible.  Yom Kippur is the atonement between the "nation" of Israel which will be fulfilled when the Lord returns.

I believe this will be the 10 day time period the Lord will pour out His 7 bowls of wrath upon the earth to destroy all unrighteousness.

Thank You so much for your continued Prayers!
Janet and I are always grateful for your continued support for us.  May the Lord bless you richly!
