Transitional Governmental Shift: 2 Directions!
Greetings!
I want to greet you from Jerusalem, the city of the Great King! As most everyone is aware.
2 Timothy 3:1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
We are living in a time where there is a governmental shift in the body of Christ. You really don't even need to be prophetic to discern this new season.
Dan. 2:20 Daniel answered and said: "Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and might are His. 21 And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. 22 He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with Him.
1 Cor. 15:46
However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual.
With the amazing changes in leadership in the Middle East we can see that He is changing times and seasons. We also know that it comes first to the natural realm and then to the spiritual realm. With this in mind we know that as the shifts are happening in the natural government and we are beginning to see a shift in government within the church on a global basis.
THE CHURCH IS IN A WATER SHED OF SHIFTING:
2 DIRECTIONS
As the Lord is changing the times and the seasons, He shifts leaders by bringing down leaders and raising up leaders. We are in a shifting of leaders in the church. However, the Lord is also allowing there to be two streams. A true stream of leaders and a false stream.
Characteristics being taught by both true and false streams.
1. Kingdom message
2. Apostles
3. Prophets
4. Teachers
5. Pastors
6. Evangelists
7. Miracles
8. Signs and wonders
9. Financial blessing
10. Growth
11. Preach Jesus
12. Born again
13. Dreams
14. Visions
15. Healings
16. Prayer
17. Worship
18. 7 mountains
19. Unity
20. Bible and preach the Word
21. Gifts of the Spirit
22. Global evangelism
23. Israel
Different teachings between the true and false streams
False True
1. Post and A-Millennialism vs. Pre-Millennialism
2. Kingdom comes now through the church vs. Kingdom comes when Jesus returns
3. Increasing deception in the false vs. increasing revelation in the true
4. Increasing false power vs. increasing true power
5. Rejection of the cross and suffering vs. preaching the cross and suffering
6. Driven by selfish ambition vs. living in the Presence
7. Over focus on money vs. minimum concern for money
8. Teaches submission to a man vs. teaches submission to Jesus
9. Typically like Babel: build big to heaven to make a name for yourself vs. discipleship in the small group context
10. Replacement theology regarding Israel vs. preparation to help Israel in the time of Jacob's Trouble
These are just a few of the dynamics that are going on in this water shed. The Lord is giving people over to their desires. Either for Him or for self. This deception is getting stronger and stronger so that even the elect might be saved if possible.
One of the primary tools in this deception is the eschatological deception. Simply whether a person is holding to a pre-millennial view point or a post-millennial and a-millennial view. Your view on the millennium is determined by your hermeneutic and one of the most important hermeneutics is directly related to whether you have a literal or allegorical interpretation of Revelation, Matt 24 and other prophecies regarding the last days.
The reason this is so critical is where you "think" you are headed will establish your priorities and decisions as to your preparation to where you "think" you are going. If I get on a plane in Chicago and I think I am going to San Diego than I prepare for San Diego. But if that flight goes to Anchorage Alaska I may not be ready at all. Even though both flights are flying in the same direction my preparation is related to my destination.
We have a view of this with the "boys on the road to Emmaus" where the two of the disciples had a wrong eschatology.
Luke 24:13 And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about threescore furlongs.
14And they talked together of all these things which had happened.
15And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.
16But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.
17And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?
18And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?
19And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:
20And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.
21But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.
22Yea, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulchre;
23And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.
24And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.
25Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:
26Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?
27And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
28And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further.
29But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.
30And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.
31And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.
32And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?
33And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them,
34Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.
1. Their eyes were blinded by their wrong eschatology verse 21
2. They did not except the fact that suffering was a part. verse 26
3. The deception was so strong they did not recognize him. verse 31-32
4. Because things were not happening the way they "thought" it should happen they left Jerusalem and were depressed. verse 17
My point is this: Your wrong eschatology will put you on a road that you will begin to miss Jesus and end up being part of the false end time church government. It will also position you to walk in replacement theology regarding Israel in these last days. It will not prepare you for the difficult times that are coming or to help the Jewish people in the time time of Jacob's Trouble. The Lord is allowing this to happen in this hour.
May the Lord Bless you as you press into Him and His Word in this amazing hour....
Please pray for Jerusalem...
Shalom, Clint & Janet & Abbey
