Greetings!

So many awesome things are happening!  It is Janet's birthday on May 14!  We have just celebrated Israel's birth as a nation.  Time feels like it is going quicker every day.  We have had visitors here in Jerusalem from Asia.  It has been very exciting.  There is such an awakening of the Asian church to come to Israel and to pray for Israel and to give money into the prayer houses in the Middle East.  Recently, when I was in Hong Kong ministering at a 24/7 prayer house, we received a seed offering for prayer houses in the Middle East and over $12,000 U.S. came in!     

The Lord continually connects and networks from contacts in China to the Middle East and into Jerusalem.  These are truly amazing days.  I have continually been sharing on the End Times and the nearness of the hour.  We started Naioth School of the Prophets in Taiwan and there is an awesome anointing on it.  We are now looking to see when we start Naioth here in Jerusalem.  Please pray for this.  I have had some meetings with prophetic leaders here in the Land and it is going very well.  We see September as a critical month for many reasons.   

There are many prophetic people in the Land and the Lord is beginning to build a prophetic community so that once again the Word of the Lord will go forth from Jerusalem.  We are seeing 

Is 2:1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
       2 Now it shall come to pass in the latter days
      That the mountain of the LORD's house
      Shall be established on the top of the mountains,
      And shall be exalted above the hills;
      And all nations shall flow to it.
      3 Many people shall come and say,
      " Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD,
      To the house of the God of Jacob;
      He will teach us His ways,
      And we shall walk in His paths."
      For out of Zion shall go forth the law,
      And the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.  

Many have asked me what is happening here and how to pray.  Here is a quick overview from my perspective:

1.  An understanding of the times and seasons is growing.  Please see Pastor Wayne Hilsden's messages here:   Red Alert!  

2.  God is beginning to rebuild a prophetic alter of worship for the Tabernacle of David.  Allot of people talk about this but the truth is there is very little prophetic worship in the city!  The Lord has the prophetic musicians here but the religious climate in the city does not allow to much of it to happen.

3.  There is an increasing hunger for the prophetic Word of the Lord.

4.  We are seeing the Lord beginning to build a true prophetic community.  It does exist at some level already but it is very restricted by the religious spirit that is opposed to it.   

5.  The connection with China is growing very rapidly on many levels.  The concern is that there is bad ministry here in Israel and bad ministry in China and we want to see the good ministries get connected to each other so that both sides (Chinese and Israeli) have a good experience.   

6.  We are in a season of shifting here in Jerusalem.  (see my last email: Archived Teachings and Emails)  Prayer for transition is critical right now!

7.  God is raising up the youth.  We were just at a city wide prayer meeting and over half almost 2/3 of the people there were under 30!  How exciting!  They are not the NEXT generation they are the NOW generation and it is time to release them and support them as they move into this next season.  On Sunday night (May 15) I will be involved with a Abbey and a group of young people that are going to press into prophetic worship and see what happens.    

8.  There is a growing concern and awareness of the false teaching in America.  It is a strange mixture of Post Millenialism, A-Millenialism, Dominion Theology and Preterism.  All of these are a mixture of replacement theology.  Many of the leaders and churches that are involved in this are getting seduced like the proverbial "frog in the kettle".  Much of this perspective rejects "gloom and doom" preaching as false and a mixture.  The Biblical reality is that we are going into very difficult times (some call it gloom and doom but Scripture calls it tribulation) that will not only refine the church and purify it but allow us to walk with Israel during her most difficult moment in all of history--Jacob's Trouble. One of the books being used to push this is "Victorious Eschatology" Amazon   I suggest people get it and read it to see this deception.  There are many "famous" people that are using this book right now in their churches and schools.  End time deception is mainly a twisting of Scripture that avoids suffering and avoids the preaching of the cross and Christ crucified.   

Philippians 3:18

For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ.

9.  A theology of suffering.  There are many factions of the Body of Christ that do not hold to a theology of suffering.  That is their choice.  I have always believed and held to a theology of suffering.   

Philippians 3:10

that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His

sufferings, being conformed to His death,

Colossians 1:24

I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church,

2 Timothy 1:8

Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God.

Hebrews 2:10

For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through

sufferings.

James 5:10

My brethren, take the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord, as an example of suffering and patience.

2 Cor 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ. 6 Now if we are afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effective for enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer. Or if we are comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. 7 And our hope for you is steadfast, because we know that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so also you will partake of the consolation.  

As humans we don't like to suffer or see people suffer.  We do all we can to avoid pain. All kinds of pain: emotional, physical, relational, spiritual, financial, etc.  But pain and suffering are in the Earth and in humanity everywhere and it is growing and getting worse.  We are to not only touch the pain of the world but bring healing to it and empathy to it.  

When Jesus told the disciples that He was going to suffer and die.   

Matt 16:21 From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day. 22 Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, "Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!"  23 But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men."

This is our struggle:  to avoid suffering is to be mindful of the things that are of men and not the things that are of God.    Suffering is the cross!  It is the message of the cross!  You can take it or leave it.  Paul E. Billheimer wrote a great book that I highly recommend.  Don't Waste Your Sorrows 

1 Cor. 2:2 For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

The reality is that difficult times are coming but look past that and see that the Millennial Reign of Jesus the Messiah is at coming!  Yes, there are some "speed bumps", 3 1/2 years of speed bumps that we WILL go through along with our elder brother...Israel...during Jacob's trouble.  Yeshua called it the "great tribulation"!  But it really isn't a big deal for those who  

Revelation 12:11

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

2 Corinthians 4:17

For our light affliction which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.

Even so come quickly Lord Jesus!
