Clint and Janet
Home at last in Jerusalem

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Janet received a word back in 1980 that one day we would live in Israel.  I had a few words spoken to me about it over the years.  We always felt that we would be in and out of the Land that He calls Holy.  But only over the last 4 years did I believe we would make Jerusalem our home.  I had a divine encounter with the Lord in Israel about 3 years ago and He spoke very specifically to me about moving to the City of the Great King soon.  We embarked on our "prophetic act" on Kairos our 38 foot sailboat in June of 2008 from Hawaii to come to the Land.  It is a prophetic act of sailing the "spice road" the "silk road by the sea" and the return of the Jewish people from the islands and Asia back to the Land.  The boat is currently in Palau, Micronesia about 400 miles East of Cebu, Philippines.  We are awaiting the end of typhoon season in the Pacific.  It has been an awesome journey from San Diego to Hawaii, through the South Pacific Islands, New Zealand and now back in to the North Pacific and headed to Hong Kong in December.  We still are not sure when Kairos will arrive in Eilat, Israel but we know that we are in His timing.

In the mean time the Lord clearly opened a door for us to get settled in Jerusalem and to have that as our base.  We are to open our place to all of you especially to the Chinese.  Most of you are aware of our commitment to the Chinese church.  During Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) the Lord sealed our permanent arrival in Jerusalem when we signed a lease on the apartment.  Janet and Abbey are currently there and plugged into King of Kings and serving where they can.  I am in Taiwan at the moment but headed to San Francisco for a week and then back to Taiwan to continue to establish the school of ministry which will also be in Israel.  I will meet with Janet and Abbey on Kairos on  December 1 to set sail for the Far East.  Hong Kong.

We are grateful for all of you who pray and help us financially.  May the Lord bless you in this season as He begins to shake the heavens and the Earth in a greater way.  Praise God His kingdom is unshakable!  It is all we really have.  Everything else will go in the shaking.

When we were first saved we had a saying--"It is all going to burn!"  How true it is.  I encourage you to labor for what will endure the shaking and the fire.

Don't be lulled to sleep by the spirit of the world and the spirit of the age.  Worship Jesus!  Stay close to Him.  He is soon returning and your reward will be with Him.

Shalom,  Clint and Janet

TWO IMPORTANT EMAILS I JUST RECEIVED

Betrayal in Zion Friday, 15 October 2010 09:44 AM EDT Barry Segal

We are on the brink of a spiritual breakthrough in the nation of Israel. Today, the number of Israeli Messianic Jewish believers is estimated at 12,000, with about 140 different congregations and home fellowships. God is birthing a new end-time movement of Jewish lovers in Yeshua that is becoming a prophetic voice to Israel as well as to other nations. This is truly a time to rejoice. Nevertheless, many Jewish believers in Israel regularly experience not only rejection by the traditional Jewish religious establishment but also growing antagonism and hostility from extremist ultra-orthodox elements. What is happening to the Messianic Jews is to be expected considering we are in the end times. Similar persecution is being experienced by believers all over the world. What is disturbing, though, is the trend among many Christians and some Christian Zionists to sever their relationships with or withhold support from the Messianic Jewish community in Israel for the sake of maintaining ties to political figures or religious leaders. This trend is counterproductive for those of us who desire to see the natural and spiritual redemption of Israel. It is imperative that we stand in prayer and support for our Jewish brothers and sisters in Yeshua. God isn't pleased with lovers of Zion who turn their backs on their own-the Jewish body of Messiah. In fact, some Christian funding is being funneled into organizations, both Christian and Jewish, that are fighting the local believers in Israel. This is a time to use discernment in your giving. There is no doubt that the Holy Spirit is being poured out on God's chosen people once again. The prophet Jeremiah foretold this season when he wrote, " 'Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah' " (Jer.31:31, NKJV). The Lord confirmed it when He spoke through Ezekiel: " ' " 'I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you' " ' " (Ezek. 36:26-27). We, Israeli Jewish believers in Yeshua the Messiah, are dedicated to the land and people of Israel. We know that God watches over His people; nevertheless, we must speak out when adjustment or correction is needed. Now is the time to bring the good news and the hope of Israel to our people. In the days of the early church, even a very orthodox Jew stood up among the elders when they were accusing Peter and the other apostles. "Then one in the council stood up, a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law held in respect by all the people, and ... said to them: 'Men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what you intend to do regarding these men. For some time ago Theudas rose up, claiming to be somebody. A number of men, about four hundred, joined him. He was slain, and all who obeyed him were scattered and came to nothing. "After this man, Judas of Galilee rose up in the days of the census, and drew many people after him. He also perished, and all who obeyed him were dispersed. And now I say to you, keep away from these men and let them alone; for if this plan or this work is of men, it will come to nothing; but if it is of God, you cannot overthrow it-lest you even be found to fight against God'" (Acts 5:34-39). When the apostle Paul went on his journeys, he raised money for Jerusalem. He always did it for and through the community of Jewish believers in Yeshua. Today Christians are showing their love for Israel through many wonderful acts of compassion. Our nation appreciates your love.

FROM JOHN ROBB

Dear Friends, It is a chilly morning here in Beijing, China, and here is a quick update, asking for your prayer support for this potentially extremely strategic few days that are just beginning. Our team from Western countries has arrived to begin a series of meetings with Chinese officials, academics and others in the hopes of creating a process towards historical reconciliation and eventually a China institute of peace. We will also be meeting in a forum that the US embassy is arranging on Monday. Unfortunately, due to the furor and outrage here due to the Nobel prize being given to one of their jailed dissidents, the government has canceled the Prince of Peace Forums at which a number of our team were due to speak. However, we are in His hands and believe that He has other ways to get the message of reconciliation and peacemaking out to the government and other parts of the society. Would you, therefore, please pray for the opening of doors and hearts, as well as for great favor and wisdom, so that we will know the best way to go forward in each encounter? The bottom line for the Road to Reconciliation as this initiative is called is that at least one local organization or government department will become our partner for the process to come. I also request prayer for our team who just met one another for the first time last night, that we will be given one heart and mind, letting the Holy Spirit guide us with love and humility. Across the world in South Africa, the great Lausanne congress is meeting with over 4000 Christian leaders as I have mentioned to you before. Please pray for traveling mercies for all, for His strong anointing and guidance of the leaders and participants so that this important gathering (Oct. 16-25) will be used of the Lord to bring breakthrough and transformation for our world. North Korea is undergoing a succession process from KimJong-il to his young son, Kim Jong-un. We need to keep that situation in prayer that His Kingdom will come there in that beleaguered and suffering nation so needing real change that will benefit alll its people. Finally, please pray for the U.S. elections, November 2, and the process leading up to them in these final two weeks. How we need people of God's choice, those with integrity and uprightness, who will care for the nation rather than just preserving their own power base. We need a cleansing of the Congress, states' governorships and legislatures. We asking for a new day for our nation that hopefully brings us back into a right relationship with the One who makes our existence individually and corporately even possible. So, above all, we need spiritual and moral revival to bring change to a disintegrating national culture that has caused the nation to lose its vision and direction. Thanks so much for your prayers of expectant faith that God will use to bring forth His purposes. Lord, let Your Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven in each of these situations and in all the other circumstances of our lives!

Blessings from Beijing,
