JERUSALEM DAY PRAYER AND FASTING IS JUNE 7, 2010
INTRODUCTION
I know that most of you are very busy and it is hard to take time to seek the Lord for yourself let alone for Jerusalem. I had a dream this morning that I want to share with you. I know this is highly subjective and some of you will just hit the delete button right now. That is between you and God and it is OK with me.
For those that want to read on give me a few minutes to share this with you and watch two videos and then pray about it. This will take 20 to 30 minutes of your time but I believe it will be well worth it.
BACKGROUND
It is ALWAYS about Jerusalem and the temple
Psalm 137:5 If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget its skill! 6 If I do not remember you, let my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth- If I do not exalt Jerusalem above my chief joy. 7 Remember, O LORD, against the sons of Edom the day of Jerusalem, who said, "Raze it, raze it, to its very foundation!"
The end times has to do with Jerusalem and God's judgment on Israel always has to do with Jerusalem.
Dan 9:2 in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years specified by the word of the LORD through Jeremiah the prophet, that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. 3 Then I set my face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes.
We are at a time where the God that "stretches out the heavens, lays the foundations of the earth and forms the spirit of man within him" is beginning to fulfill verse 2 and 3.
Zec 12:1 The burden of the word of the LORD against Israel. Thus says the LORD, who
stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms
the spirit of man within him: 2
"Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the
surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. 3
And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy
stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut
in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.
The idea is that when it comes to Jerusalem people are drunk. Their judgment is impaired and they are irrational in their decisions. We are seeing this not only with Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran but now Turkey and many other nations are becoming intoxicated and irrational regarding Israel. Laying siege to a city starts with a plan and activity that will precede the actual siege by weeks, months or years. Brothers and sisters it is happening NOW! Notice that God says I WILL make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness and I WILL make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all people.
That means that every person and every nation is going to have to deal with their attitude towards Jerusalem. It is a VERY HEAVY STONE. People would like to heave it away, that is, get rid of it but they will not be able to.
I get the weather on my Iphone and I have had Jerusalem on there for a while. All of a sudden it did not work anymore it said Upload Failed. A few days ago I reset it only to find that Jerusalem was gone and it says West Jerusalem. I was angry and shocked at the same time. I felt the Lord say it is another sign to me about the significance of this city.
Here is a great news clip from Chris Mitchell of CBN in Jerusalem that was done last fall about the third temple that is about to be rebuilt. You must understand that the battle for Jerusalem is also about the rebuilding of the temple and the temple mount. This is why there is a push to divide Jerusalem.

There is another ship that is on its way to run the blockade right now. It should be here on Saturday, June 5, 2010 Jerusalem time. This was the day that Israel launched a pre-emptive strike against Egypt in 1967 that started the six day war that Israel won. It started on June 5, 1967. This is the 43rd anniversary of it. (according to the Western Calendar) These dates are no accidents.
On Jule 14, 1683 the Muslims (Turks--Ottoman Empire) with 150,000 men attacked Vienna, Austria. Vienna was losing the battle and Europe was about to fall to Islam but at the last minute the Polish army showed up and defeated the Muslims on September 11, 1683. The Muslims had been trying to take over Europe for 300 years up to this point. This was the turning point. It is also the reason that the war against the west was renewed on September 11, 2001.

DREAM
In this dream the Lord was telling me that prayer for Jerusalem is absolutely critical at this point. That the battle of Jerusalem was being increased. It was important for those that are living in Jerusalem to be in prayer as well. He said that the ships attempting to run the blockade was a direct attack at Jerusalem and that Gaza was an outpost of the enemy to try to get to Jerusalem. I had this dream on Friday morning June 4, 2010.
PRAYER POINTS
1. Re read prayer points on previous email
2. Pray for the believers in Jerusalem to rise up in prayer
3. Pray for the leaders in Jerusalem to rise up and pray
4. Pray for King of Kings congregation to move to a new level for prayer for Jerusalem and Israel
5. Pray for the other prayer houses in Jerusalem to rise up
6. Pray for unity to grow between the prayer houses and the body
7. Pray for the city elders to be relationally connected in these days
8. Pray for the formation of the city wide eldership with a Transitional, Millennial Governmental anointing to come together for the sake of Jerusalem.
1 Kings 11:13 However I will not
tear away the whole kingdom; I will give one tribe to your son for the
sake of My servant David, and for the sake of Jerusalem which I have
chosen."
1 Kings 11:36 And to his son I will
give one tribe, that My servant David may always have a lamp before Me
in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen for Myself, to put My name
there
Lord I pray for an anointing on every person that you raise up around the world to pray for Jerusalem in this difficult season. Lord, let not Jerusalem become a cup of drunkenness to your servants but let us be sober, alert and watchmen on the walls of Jerusalem for your the sake of Your Name and for the City that You chose to put Your Name. In Yeshua's awesome Name. Amen
