Featuring works of varying colors, this Friday evening concert includes Ravel's poetic ballet music about two lovers destined for happiness. The program also includes a performance of Steward Copeland's Gamelan D'Drum, featuring percussion ensemble D'Drum.  Stewart Copeland is known to many as the drummer and founder of The Police, but he has enjoyed a lengthy career as a composer of works for orchestra, opera, and ballet, as well as film scores.
