December Culminating Events

The fall semester wrapped up with three culminating events this December to showcase students' work from our three fall classes. P.S. 7's performance demonstrated student's improve skills and ability to work together as an ensemble. At Riverdale Neighborhood House, the final art show displayed works on paper as well as sculpture. I.S. 171's theater class performed musical selections from three hit Broadway shows. Read more...

Winter Formal Event Raises Money for ATG

Our 2010 year-end giving season was topped off by the 6th Annual Winter Formal, which raised over $1000 for Arts to Grow! Actor Jordan Grubb organizes this event every year for the performing arts community. Hosted on December 19th at the Irish Rogue in NYC, the holiday party was a great way for members of the NYC theater community to socialize and give back at the same time. New CHLDC Program Starting at IS 302!

Arts to Grow and our long-time partners Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation are proud to announce a new program starting at IS 302 this winter. Along with IS 171 and PS 7, IS 302 is now the third school in the Cypress Hills, Brooklyn area that ATG has started programs for. Read more...
