Art & Soul on the Fox Street Closures

 
Art & Soul on the FoxThe City of Elgin is partnering with Art for All and the Cultural Arts Commission to host the Art and Soul on the Fox/Kaleidoscope event which will take place July 28th and 29th. Please note the time line below of when the no parking signs will be posted and the roads will be closed.


No parking signs will also be placed on Thursday, July 26th on Spring Street from Chicago to Fulton, on Grove Street from DuPage Court to Fulton, and on DuPage Street from Villa to Spring. The no parking restriction will go into effect starting on Friday, July 27th at 6pm.


On Friday, July 27th, Spring Street from Chicago to Fulton will be closed starting at 6pm and will not re-open until Sunday, July 29th after 8pm.


On Saturday, July 28th Grove Street from DuPage Court to Fulton and DuPage Street from Villa to Spring will be closed starting at 6am and will not re-open until Sunday, July 29th after 8pm. Access to the alley located south of Chicago Street will be limited to Villa and Grove. The Spring alley access will be closed on both sides of the street.

The Elgin International Festival committee is asking for our downtown property and business owners' input to aid the committee in creating the ideal atmosphere for iFest, taking place Saturday, September 1. The inaugural event begins with a parade in downtown Elgin at 11AM that leads into the festivities at Festival Park at Noon. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
