Pastor's Message: Dear Friends,
This will be our first Chirstmas together in our new church. The Lord has been most generous to us! As if the wonderful gifts we have already received haven't been enough to rejoice about we have been given a beautiful organ. It will be here in time for Christmas! We will be singing Christmas carols accompanied by Jean Matthew on our new organ. Isn't God amazing?
God has been so good to us, not only by providing for our needs and the desires of our hearts beyond any of our expectations, but most of all by giving us the Gift that keeps on giving - God's Son, Jesus the Christ! While we have been so blessed by God's generous Providence, we need to remember that it is all because of Christ that we are enjoying such favor from the Lord. I truly believe that because you have put Christ first and foremost in the mission of our parish and in your lives, our Heavenly Father is pouring out His glory on St. Raphael's by the Sea.
Now it is our turn to give back to Him who has not held back any good thing from us. Let us make this first Christmas a time that will be noted for the generous financial gifts for the ministry of our parish from parishioners and supporters alike. The Lord has already taken the first stepsto making our parish a shining light on this island for Him. Now it is our turn to meet Him with our gifts of thanks.
Please bring your special Christmas offering to either the Christ mas Eve service or the Christmas morning service. You can also contribute online or by mailing a check.Thank you in advance for your generous donations.
