Glorious Fall!

Fall/Autumn is such a glorious time of year.  The crisp freshness of the evening and morning air is so refreshing after the long hot summer and just about right for a nice campfire (with s'mores of course) or fire in the fireplace.  The fields and forest burst with a variety of colors.  The night sounds have changed to mostly crickets, soon to be near silent as the forest friends find a warmer place to spend their time too.  The areas not filled with street lights yeild a fantastic starry canvas in the sky.  Such a wonderful time of year!  ... Currently, the leaves are just beginning to show signs of change across the landscape as a whole.  (It will be a little while before the BIG show.  Join us on FACEBOOK and we will try to keep you posted from there as colors progress across the regions.  Links are below on the left.)  If you focus more on the individual trees, you can see much more change at present.  The fields that haven't been mown have a variety of wildflowers dazzling the fields - goldenrod, asters, and wild ageratum, just to name a few.  The grasses are also adding their accent with wisps of Fall Panicum, Purple Top and others dancing in the breezes.  There are loads of festivals and events still in the works in the coming weeks.  We have some events listed below, but be sure to visit the www.Go2BSF.com, www.Go2DHL.com, and www.Go2FCF.com for more events.  Of special interest to bikers might be the Sgt.
