Greetings!

WELCOME SUMMER! The rolling hills are a gorgeous green and the farmers are busy with all sorts of chores including harvesting the bountiful hay crop. The trails and the waterways are begging to be explored.  Fresh produce is just beginning to be available at the local farmers' markets and produce stands(the fresh strawberries, early cabbage, sweet peas, green onions, etc. are so wonderful after the long winter - however, most sweet corn won't be ready until late June, so get your tastebuds ready). There are plenty of wonderful places to shop and lots of "sidewalk" sales.  Memorial Day Weekend offers some special events (The dates listed are correct to the best of our knowledge, but it is a good practice to always check with the event coordinators prior to your journey.)- check the list below and on the websites (also listed below).  The BRAND NEW Big South Fork Visitor Guide is online and ready to download, order, or find where you can pick one up by this weekend (at most listed locations)!  Visit ww.Go2BSF.com for more information.

GOLFERS TAKE NOTE! The Reserve at Collins River is hosting 2 golf events in June.  The first is on Thursday, June 10th.  It's the 4th Annual 4 Lady Scramble.  The entry fee is $60/person ($240/team) and includes 1 mulligan and 1 toss per person, continental breakfast, lunch, cart, & prizes.  If you would like to view the photos from last year, click here. The second is on Saturday, June 19th.  It is the 1st Annual Golf Tournament to benefit Boyd Christian School.  It is a 4-Man Scramble.  $75/person or $300/team includes lunch.  Cash prizes for the top 3 teams, closest to the pin, longest drive, door prizes, mulligans and red tees will be available.  PLEASE ENTER SOON! Deadlines are quickly approaching and space is limited.
Scott's Cabin
Are you looking for a great deal on a log cabin overlooking Dale Hollow Lake? Check this out!  This fully furnished log cabin has been reduced from $249,900 to $199,900.  It's only 5 years old and would make a great rental income property for anyone looking to make the investment!  Call Scott at Terra Firma TN for all the details.  (865) 617-4446.

There is a lot going on all over this weekend!  Be sure to see the event list below!  AND REMEMBER, there's always something interesting playing at the Cumberland County Playhouse.  Visit their website for a complete list.
