Come Out and Play on the Plateau!
Lakes, Trails, Waterfalls, & More! | May 2010 |
Greetings!
The Burckhards |
It has been a remarkable spring on the Cumberland Plateau. The trees are a delightful shade of green now and all the vegetation is flourishing from the abundant rains. We were spared from the worst of the recent flooding in comparison to the Nashville, TN area, for which we are extremely greatful and our prayers are with those that weren't as fortunate. There are several events schedule for the upcoming weeks. You will find a partial list below - with links back to our main sites. As always, check these for more events and information, and visit the marina, park, horse camp, and other linked sites for the latest information on their upcoming events. The BRAND NEW Big South Fork Visitor Guide will be online soon! Be watching for it at www.Go2BSF.com. Be one of the first to download your copy. As we mentioned in the April newsletter, Supreme Builders has just acquired a Big Green Egg dealership and were also just given the Better Business Bureau's highest rating of satisfaction. I promised more information in an upcoming issue and here it is. May is National Grilling Month and the folks at Supreme Builders are excited about their new product. The Big Green Egg can act as a smoker, grille, and oven. You can even bake bread and pizzas on it! The baked on ceramic glaze finish holds heat and juices in ...and the flavor. It also keeps the meat from shrinking after it is cooked. They have the small, medium, and large Eggs and they also stock a wide variety of Big Green Egg accessories including the 100% natural lump charcoal (which lasts 3x's longer than regular charcoal). While supplies last, if you buy any size Egg, they will give you two packs of extra thick cedar grilling planks. Visit their website at www.supremebuilding.com or give them a call at (931) 473-WOOD to learn more. Their A+ Better Business Bureau rating means that they have a perfect record in customer satisfaction. To quote Ryan of Supreme Builders - "It's our hometown way of doing business and our Supreme Services are paying off!" Below is a picture of the Supreme family receiving their award.
