What's New for 2010

Welcome to a brand new decade! It's not just a new year in 2010. With all the challenges and changes that we have faced as a nation in the past decade, we are hopeful as we greet the new year.

The Nashville Boat Sport & Travel Show is this weekend - officially January 6-10 in Nashville, TN. We would like to invite you to come out and enjoy all that the show has to offer. Stop by and visit us and our advertisers that are participating. Terry will be at the East Port Marina & Resort booth during a portion of the show. They will be in Booth # 146. [Be sure to pick up copies of the guides at the shows! Due to the rising postage rates, we can no longer send the guides out by mail for free, but you can order them for a small fee to cover the postage and handling. We are working to get all the websites corrected to reflect this change. The guides are still available as a free download from the web, or we have them available at many locations around each region and available at the Nashville, TN, Cincinnati, OH and Indianapolis, IN Boat Shows, as well as many equestrian, real estate and other shows in our major market areas throughout the year.] Sunset Marina & Resort will be giving away a FREE Houseboat Vacation on Dale Hollow Lake at the Nashville Boat Show (at the end of the show)! If you can't make it to the Nashville Show, we will be helping at the Upper Cumberland Tourism Association Booth at the Cincinnati Boat, Sports & Travel Show in Cincinnati, OH - Jan. 15-17 & 20-24 . If you come by and would like a guide, but don't see one, be sure to ask whomever is attending the booth. Everyone does a great job of keeping things stocked, so there shouldn't be any need to ask, but just in case. Look for us as well at the Indianapolis Boat Sport & Travel Show coming in February (19-28).

Valentines Day is just around the corner! Be sure to book your romantic getaway to the area soon! Several of the restaurants that are opened throughout the year host special Valentines/Candlelight Dinners around February 14th. Give your favorite place to dine a call and see what is on the menu and book a weekend stay at any of several of the year round accommodations. Even though it is winter, it is a great time to get away to the peace and quite found around much of each region. Hiking, fishing, and hunting (as the seasons allow) are great during the warmer days, just prepare properly. It's most always a great day to enjoy a good book around a roaring fire, watch the wildlife, or take a leisurely dip in a hot tub.

The new year also brings some new opportunities that we are embracing to assist us in communicating with everyone. We would like to invite you to join us there to keep track of the latest happenings around each region.
