Greetings!
It won't be long until we will greet a brand new year. In the meantime, we would like to extend our warmest wishes to you and yours for a magnificient holiday season and joyous new year!
We're not the North Pole, but we've been very busy with the production of the 2010 Fall Creek Falls and Dale Hollow Lake Visitors' Guides. The Fall Creek Falls Visitors' Guide is now available online through our website - www.Go2FCF.com. The Dale Hollow Lake Visitors' Guide will also be available online by the end of the year through www.Go2DHL.com. These websites will be updated to reflect the information within the new guide at the same time it is available for download. Be sure to check them out. They are loaded with some great new stories and information about places to go and people to see while in the area. The Big South Fork Visitors' Guide is already available for download through www.Go2BSF.com with a new edition planned for release in May 2010. We are also excited about the addition of a new destination to our family of guides. It is the Center Hill Lake Visitors' Guide. It will be available in April 2010 with all the lastest information, plus stories covering the Center Hill Lake area including Smithville, Carthage, Cookeville, Granville, Lebanon, and portions of Nashville. The accompanying website www.Go2CHL.com is under construction and will be ready to launch alongside the new guide.
Keep in mind that even though it is what is traditionally referred to as the "off-season". It is a great time to come and experience any of the areas. The many small stores are great places to do your Christmas shopping and aren't nearly as packed as the malls and large chain stores. Plus, much of the merchandise is very unique. You can actually find gifts that "everybody else" doesn't already have. A chance to express a little individualism and support the small businesses that are the backbone of America. Plus, while you are here, you can most always enjoy a wonderfully, peaceful, quiet evening in the country. It is so nice to be able to step out of your door and just listen to the sound of .... nothing. ....if only for a few moments. It's an excellent time of year to hike, ride horseback, fish, and in general enjoy the natural surroundings. All you have to do is prepare properly. If you don't know how, there are guides in the areas that are happy to assist you in your endeavors. Sometimes a trip to get away and spend quality time with those you love is one of the best gifts that you can ever give. Enjoy one now, and/or schedule one for the coming year. It will make memories to last a lifetime.
There are still many Christmas Celebrations planned for the coming weeks with several New Year's Eve Celebrations to come as well. Now through Dec. 19 and 20 respectively, you can catch performance of A Sanders Family Christmas and It's a Wonderful Life being performed live and onstage at the Cumberland County Playhouse in Crossville, TN. Get all the details at www.ccplayhouse.com or give them a call at 931-484-5000. We will share some of the other events with you below.
Merry Christmas! Seasons Greetings!
& a Joyous New Year!!!
