Learn More About L&I's Stay at Work Program
The Stay at Work Program is almost ready to roll. The forms are completed; but the Department is not distributing the forms just yet as they want the infrastructure computer system work completed so that they can process payment once they actually release the forms. As of yesterday, we were advised the forms will be released in January and reimbursements will begin at that time as well.
Attached you will find the latest information from the Department of Labor and Industries as printed from their website concerning the program.
We are hosting two webinars (one is also onsite in Seattle) where the Department of Labor and Industries (L&I) will provide a presentation and answer questions regarding the program.
- Thursday, December 15th 1:00PM-3:00PM (we've allowed LOTS of time for questions & answers after their presentation)
- Wednesday, December 21st 1:00 PM-3:00 PM This webinar will be hosted from the Seattle AGC Corporate Office: 1200 Westlake Avenue (Second Floor Conference Room) for those wanting to attend onsite.
Special thanks to the Department for taking us up on our offer to have our members help by commenting on their draft forms and also to members who volunteered: Mark Gauger, GLY Construction; Bonnie Melchior, WPC, Inc.; Valerie Whitman, Max J Kuney Co.; Elske Finnoe, Charter Construction; Elaine Wilson, ARK Commercial Roofing; Steve Klover, Federal Engineers & Constructors; and Shelley English, Selland Construction, Inc.
Please RSVP to lgubbe@agcretro.com and let us know which webinar you will be participating in (or if you are coming to the 12/21 onsite meeting in Seattle).
