Greetings!
Have you ever noticed how Traditions happen? When my children were little, my sister in law always bought all the cousins new pajamas to wear on Christmas Eve. It made for a great photo op with all the cousins lined up in matching pajamas. But the real reason she did it was that HER Aunt had given them pajamas at Christmas way back in the day. So my kids got them because it was a Tradition. And now,even though they are grown, my children still expect a pair of pajamas every Christmas Eve. I don't think they really even WEAR pajamas, but by golly, they still get new pajamas every Christmas Eve because it's a TRADITION!
That's kind of what happens with Traditions...we do something once, it works well, we do it again, and low and behold a Tradition is born. To be repeated for ever and ever and ever and ever. Our Traditions are what make the holidays so special. They provide a link between our memories and our future. They are, in large part, the thread that makes our family a family across generations and time.
